That was hilarious, after showing Ramona's elaborate pool in the Hamptons. I certainly "get" having a blowup pool in a Brooklyn backyard for the kids, but seeing those two in their bathing suits (ew) tossing a ball 10 feet to each other was pretty silly. If I see Simon's nipples one more time (ew...that massage! {{{shudder}}}), I'm going to puke. (Didn't read this whole thread, but I will...love his show!)

The pool was hysterical!But did you see how dirty the water was???It was milky...disgusting!

Last nights show was great! The Countess really needs a course in ettiquette herself and to really get over herself. She insults Bethenny without a thought. Then when she is insulted by Ramona, at "her" event(wait a minute, I thought the event was for the Hope Lodge and the patients), she just about has a coronary. She wants to kick Ramona out and then she was not at all gracious about Ramona's apology.

Bethenny had the right idea. She was hurt by what the countess said, but waited until a later time to bring it up to her. She didn't want to start a big something in the middle of the Hope Lodge benefit. I really wasn't sure how I felt about Bethenny until last nights episode. I think she is great! And I loved that pink gown she had on for her photo shoot. It was gorgeous!

Ohh, and I love how the Social Life editor called out the Countess on the airbrushing when she was interviewing her.I would love to see that interview to see how she stammered her way through that one.

I loved Luann last year. She was one of my favorites. Now she's just a total *****.

Last year I hated Ramona but she's growing on me a little.

Kelly looks like a man. I don't like her at all.

Alex and Simon skeeve me out but at least they're entertaining. I actually like Alex a little.

Bethany and Jill remain my favorites. They seem the most real and they're both funny as heck.

I was LMAO last night when Luann went on and on about Bethanny not letting go of the retouching comment when she (Luann) attacked Ramona over and over again for calling Luann's husband old.

I just scanned the article quick, but I think there might be video of that interview with the Social Life editor. Apparently she is getting her own show too.

I am over on bravotv.com reading the latest blog entries for the ladies. Here is an excerpt from "The Countess'" blog...

"I was inspired to write my book Class with the Countess because people are always asking my advice on everything from what to wear to knowing what to say, from table manners to how to radiate self confidence. It became obvious to me that people are confused about what is appropriate in a world in where anything goes. I think people are tired of being treated badly and seeing people behave badly."


I think she's got it wrong. She keeps calling people out on what she perceives as bad manners. So they ask her opinion on stuff so she doesn't embarass them.

I just love this show, the ladies are a hoot. Did anyone else find it a little rude(for lack of a better word) for LuAnn and Bethany to be discussing being on the cover of a magazine and being airbrushed and touched up, while a lady in the background was obviously a cancer patient who had lost her hair to chemo. I jusst thought it was tacky and poor timing, this woman is probably fighting for her life and they are ranting on about touch ups and air brushing.

Yes - how incredibly insensitive! And LuAnn just kept going off on Ramona and how Ramona was ruining her day...... wow.

I couldn't believe Jill's interior designer/"gay husband" as she puts it and the boards he was showing her: When he said something like it wasn't the same shade he was going to use, etc. that is total bs - as an interior designer you always put the exact shade you are planning to use/pitching to the client - how absurd he was. He probably just wanted her to stop being negative about his choices.

I loved when the countess was talking about her book and she said something like, "People want to know how I went from living in CT to being a Countess." Okay, who wants to know that???

Then she said Bethanny couldn't get past her being a Countess. Bethanny was just making a point that being a Countess does not make you a manners expert and that Luann was just a normal person who happened to marry a Count. Luann was so clueless.

I like Jill and Brittany the best.

I had a different take on the LuAnn thing. I thought the retouch comment was just a comment. Whenever someone mentions she is was a model, she adds that she was just a catalog model. I think many people would be interested to hear how an American Indian from the south became a Countess. There are people who enjoy anything to do with royalty. I think the comment Ramona made was way worse. She bad mouthed LuAnn's husband in front of their child. The girl was in tears. I think he is a handsome distinguished man and I do not think he looks twice as old as LuAnn. Ramona really needs to learn to think before she speaks, seriously. I loved it when LuAnn made the comment about Ramona's bugged out eyes. I think I actually like New York the best, atleast they act with some modicum of decency, unlike the other Real Housewives.

My husband goes nuts when I have this show on...he can't stand watching those woman. I don't know why, I don't watch much tv but I absolutely love this show! It is the only show I record to watch, a total guilty pleasure.
I agree with what most of you are saying...about who we like and who we don't. And yes, the fact that they were discussing all this frivilous stuff around cancer patients really leapt out at me. Maybe the countess should rethink her behaviour and add a chapter to her etiquette book about how to behave around cancer patients....geeesh talk about self absorbed!
You know who is one of my favorites...you dont see him much, but I think Ramonas hubby Mario is absolutely adorable, he's nice to look at and seems to have a pretty endearing personality. He must let alot roll off his shoulders!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the comparison of the Hampton's poll to the backyard Brooklyn pool. I think Alex needs a ruler. 3x10 feet? Come on. Who is she kidding?

And I really loved how Alex thought they were better because they didn't live in an apartment so they had the space for their pool.
