Tonight is the season finale. Looks like some big fight between Jill and Bethaney.
I dont know about when the reunion show might be on. Isnt usually the week after the season finale?

Was I the only one who caught Ramona saying "Kadoos" rather than "Kudos"? She needs to lay off the Pinot Grigio.

Also, did you get the idea that she was stirring the pot on the whole Jill and Bethenny issue? And that she enjoyed doing it? I think she's very jealous of that relationship, yet in a previous show, she indicated that she and Jill were not close friends. Hmm Ramona, wonder why?

I saw Jill on a show yesterday and she seemed to indicate that the Reunion Show is very interesting. Took 5-6 hours to film.

Someone fill me in please!!!!!! I missed the show last night and my new Tivo (the last one burnt out) is waiting to be installed. What happened with Bethenny and Jill? Please please please tell me!

This jist of the argument and how I understand it, was that in the last planning meeting of the Arthritis charity event, they had decided that the housewives were not going to promote their own stuff. There was a big heated discussion.

In the meantime, Bethenny was given the task of putting together the bar. She got a company to donate $20K in booze. The company sent over shameless advertising signs to be hung over the bar. In addition, there was the new sign for Bethenny's Skinny Girl drinks. Ramona was there during the setup and made sure she brought this to Jill's attention. Jill was upset and texted Bethenny, who never got back to her that we know of. Ramona kept going on and on about it with Jill and Jill said some things to Ramona. (They took down the signs for the liquor company, but left up the Skinny Girl signs.) Of course this got back to Bethenny, and Bethenny confronted Jill about it. Bethenny being the bulldog that she can be, wanted to discuss it right then and there with Jill. JIll was wound up about the event and in the midst of trying to get things off the ground. (bad timing, really) Anyway, that was when Jill snapped and told Bethenny to just leave. Bethenny was taken aback and just let it go for the moment. She then later went to Jill and they talked and made up. (a sign of a true friendship.)

The other funny thing was that Mario made up recognition awards for all the housewives as a thank you for their hard work for the event. Jill gave them out to all but Kelly. It was a few minutes after they were given out that Jill realized she had one for Kelly. It was great to see Kelly's deflated face.

The Countess and her hubby were also invited to the Stock Exchange. It was interesting to watch knowing that he was "out the door" at that point.

Oh, and Simon wore the most hideous outfit to the event. Red leather, skin tight, pants that were just plain "Simon". Quite gross. No other man on this planet would be caught dead wearing those. YUCK!

It's on again this evening. An hour earlier I think. Ya gotta watch!

No. I cried when I heard that. What a moron!!!!

eta: I wish the host of the reunion show would ask her what the heck a kadoo is!! That would be so awesome.

I guess I missed something, because I really didn't get why Jill was getting so upset. It is very common practice at benefits to have a company donate goods (particularly alcohol) and they always have banners and signs showing they "donated" to the event. It saved Jill's group thousands of dollars in liquor, which cut down the total cost to pay for the event so a higher percentage of the donations would go directly to the cause. She should have said "thank you." Instead, she took the liquor signs down, but left up Bethenny's? Made zero sense to me. What am I missing (other than Ramona's jealousy)?

Ramona and Simon are a little too much alike, I think, each one wanting to stand out in a crowd. Their dancing techniques reminded me a little of Elaine Benes' in the famous Seinfeld kick-dancing scence. "Kadoos" indeed!

Does anybody else feel like this whole season of Housewives of NYC was just one big continuous infomerical? ... I mean, week after week, someone was trying to sell something of theirs ... whether it was fabric, jewelry, skin cream, books, drinks, etc., ... OMG, enough already , KWIM? ...

Next week the reunion special will air in two parts, and I cannot WAIT to see what made the cut. We filmed the whole day and really, the editors could just run the tape as so much happened. Things occurred that none of us expected – questions were cleared up, buried tensions came out to play, season one even reared its head….and more than one male cast member showed up for the martini. In acting, the martini is the final shot of the day. In reality-land, it’s an actual martini (or champagne or gin,) downed for medicinal purposes after the cameras are shut off. Watch what happens!
