I do not believe Teresa about doing it all herself. I just don't. I think that everything about her is fake.

When they were making the tomato sauce her babysitter came over. WHY? Teresa and her whole family was there, why she probably needed someone to watch the little ones.

She has no nanny but she does have baby sitters

No housekeeper? She might want to call is something different but does anyone really believe she has those 4 kids, that she watches herself, that she cooks dinner 5 nights a week like she says, that she keeps that house herself.....that she cleans all her bathrooms herself?

I just don't believe it.

Just like the bankruptcy it's all smoke and mirrors.

Lisa

Well - you could be absolutely right.. She could very well be feeding us a bunch of bull - but if she does do all of that herself, I want some of whatever she's taking to give her all of that energy..:rotfl::lmao:

I also believe that Ashley needs her little butt put in place. She is a child trying to play in adult games.
I truly believe that her step-father and Carolines family are not so fond of Ashley, but tolerate her because of her mother.

I don't know about Chris's family but think that he is a father figure to Ahsley and I remember he bought her a car when she didn't deserve it because she was stressed. That isn't someone that isn't fond of her.

I didn't particularly care for the song or Danielle's voice. :confused3 I also think just about everything Danielle does/says is all part of the act. Suddenly being linked to a woman and gazing at her, sitting on her lap...it's all part of some plan she's got going on and frankly, it's grown tiresome for me. I really have no interest in her at all.

As for Teresa, you know...I wouldn't be surprised if she did do all of that herself. What else does she have to do??????????? She isn't working or anything!

Well Teresa has not had money to furnish most of the rooms in her house, so cleaning can't be that difficult :rotfl2:

Honestly, the woman needs a reality check. She tells Danielle to get a job but somehow it's ok for other family to support her...

Joe has a long line of people waiting for money he owes them. I could not live in a house that I know the building materials are still not paid for and he failed to pay other obligations to fund the house otherwise.

Now the only thing I hope is that neither one of the Kims make the show, I would think it would be a disaster. But they can't keep this Danielle vs. everyone else separation going forever. They need someone that knows both sides and I think that's why the Kims are there...

Not according to the People article. Annual income for 2009 was $79,000, this includes income from Bravo. Filed for bankruptcy Oct. 2009 listing $10.98 million in debt. including $80,000 in credit card debt. Received $120,000 for support from family members.
Certainly doesn't sound like they "have plenty of money":rolleyes1

"Plenty of money" was just gossip I heard in town. I don't know for sure how true it is.

What you have to remember is that is reported income. If you look at their bankruptcy papers, they are claiming $500 in jewlery...come on, have you seen the diamond on her finger?...how much do you think that is worth, if it's real of course.

If I were a bettin' woman I'd say that because Joe is in real estate/construction, that house didn't cost as much as you might think to build. Also if you look closely, there is still plenty of work to be done. And there is no furniture in a lot of the rooms.

Oh, and the reason Teresa doesn't have help is because help only takes cash.

I think that bankruptcy is all BS. Where is the Bravo income, the income from the book. She says in the book that Joe just opened a pizza restaurant. He is in contruction...they only make 79,000 in NJ? :lmao: I am going to guess there is a lot more under the table stuff.

That is why all the cash....no one has to report it.

Lisa

Also if you look closely, there is still plenty of work to be done.

I doubt that Juicy would have gotten his "occupancy" permit if there was still allot to be done on the house. When we built our home in Boston the town's building inspector came to inspect, mind you we have to be out of my other home as it was sold and the new owners were coming in ... well the building inspector was so particular that he did pass us BUT said that he had an issue with the fact ONE PIPE in the basement did not have one of those insulation sleeves around it ... it was a 10 sec fix, but he looked right at us and the builder and said "get that done" ... soooo back to Juicy, doubt they left allot undone ...

I will say when Teresa and the party planner went outside to discuss the party ... I saw this CABLE hanging down next to the house ... odd.

The cable was probably for speakers for an outdoor stereo system...we had them at our previous house.

Here's what I'm thinking ...

1. 4 kids, watching by herself? - sure she can, but just how closely does she watch them :scratchin ...

2. cooks dinner 5 nights a week? - sure she can, it's just as easy to "cook" dinner as it is to cook, say, microwave french toast for breakfast :scratchin ...

3. keeps the house herself, including bathrooms? - sure she can, but just how "clean" does she really keep it :scratchin ... does she vacuum, dust, mop, wash, etc. every day, once a week, once a month :scratchin ... would it really even pass a white glove test :scratchin ...

so, I think she may do it all by "herself", but I just don't think she's being completely honest on how WELL everything is actually done ... ;)

I don't know that this applies to Teresa, because she does appear to be pampered and a bit "dainty", but there are plenty of women out there working full time, raising kids, and keeping house! I have no idea how they do it! I'm a SAHM with two (soon to be 3) kids, and I have a hard time keeping it all together, but there are women out there who are gettin' it done!
My Grandma had 7 kids, worked full time as a nurse, cooked nightly (like, full on real cooking), and kept her house spotless. My dad said there were times she would be up until 2am ironing jeans because she couldn't stand the thought of sending the kids to school with wrinkles (who irons jeans???).
Needless to say, she get's really, really good mothers day presents!!!

How could Teresa and Joe throw such a lavish party knowing they had finanacial problems???? This show just isn't fun anymore. I think Danielle is a complete loon, but continually calling her a pig is ridiculous. Caroline is the only one who seems to have any class. I wish I could say I will stop watching, but I know I won't!

Teresa did not pay for the party.

I work at business affairs department at an cable network studio in Los Angeles (not Bravo). We pay for the parties. We also pay everybody hourly minimum wage, for appearing on the show, and if the show is successful most leads are eventually able to negotiate per-episode salaries (RH:NJ is probably at this point. Almost everybody gets a per-episode salary - usually $10,000 to $15,000 - if the show gets a second season. The "secondary casts" usually get something too - the husbands are probably paid, as are the children, though at much small numbers.).

When they go to those boutique stores and restaurants and spend a fortune - well, they don't spend fortune. We have files and files full of stores and restaurants who offer us free meals and free merchandise in exchange for appearing on the show, which is why these stars are rarely at the same place twice. When Teresa "spends" $1,200 at a children clothing boutique, that boutique just got a national cable television advertisement on a hit show for $1,200. Seriously, everyday the e-mails, mail and offers that we get from businesses is insane.

Vacation episodes? We pay for everything - airfare, hotel, food, sightseeing.

Vow renewals? We pay. Is a character getting married? Yeah, we're probably paying for the wedding, too.

It all sounds expensive, but reality shows are a hell lot cheaper to film than a sitcom or drama. We might spend $50,000 on a lavish vacation to a Caribbean island, and that's still pocket change compared to what we have to pay top notch talent to appear on a high-quality cable TV show like "Burn Notice."

It costs about $1.5-$2M to produce an hour-long drama like "Burn Notice," and we can make an hour-long reality show about rich people for about $350,000, even accounting for all the expenses we pay on behalf of the reality sitars.

On the flip side, a reality show doesn't do as well in DVD sales or in syndication, but reality shows tend to succeed more often and have smaller fixed costs (less contract commitments, no building sets, less union workers).

Wow! Thanks for sharing all that info.. Very, very interesting.. You don't also pay for their cars, things like Gia's acting/modeling lessons, and things like that though - do you?

That must be a very exciting industry to work in!! :goodvibes

I would not be shocked if Gia's acting/modeling lessons were "donated" for the promotional exposure by that acting/modeling school.

There is a reason you usually see a nice zoom-in on the store/restaurant's name before or after the stars visit - if you see it, it was donate gratis by the store or restaurant. That party that Teresa threw for her daughter a few episodes ago? No doubt in my mind that company donated the entire party for the exposure, as its name and logo were pretty prominently featured.

A reality star with a lot of bargaining power might be successful in getting a studio to pay her car lease or be able to use a car from the studio's fleet, but that's extremely rare.

Did anybody notice when Danielle was in with the doctor for the consultation...the magazine with her daughter was on his desk? It was only for a split second...just made me think she carries it wherever she goes and shows everyone she comes in contact with.

wow! Kim D is causing some trouble and what is God's name was Teresa thinking? Did she really think she was going to have a friendly conversation with Danielle? Really Teresa, I am so upset, stop causing trouble, all you keep saying is "you want her out of your life" then go to the event and ignore her!

The reason I say Kim D is causing trouble is b/c A) she sat with Jacqueline and Teresa and sat RIGHT across from Danielle (really Kim D, you don't have any other friends? B/c until a few weeks ago I am pretty sure J n D were just acquaintances), and she know that Danielle was going to be POed when Ashley was modeling and not her DD. And why did Kim D call her back anyway to invite her again? :confused3 If i was at that fashion show and that all went down I would have left and never of shopped at Posche ever again.

Jacqueline handled herself well and I liked Caroline's mentality, why should she miss a night out with her hubby when she could go to Poshe any say of the week and see what Kim D has.

And how funny was it when Danielle went to Poshe all mad and didn't even tell the girl at the desk her name! LoL

ITA:thumbsup2

It seemed that Kim D made the situation bad from the start. It appeared that Danielle was going to the restroom with her group of gals and Teresa came out there to cause a scene. If she wanted to just say hello, she would have said it and let Danielle just walk by. But she had to antagonize and ask her why she is running away. The entire episode it was apparent that Danielle is very paranoid and reads into people's actions way too much. She expects people to betray her and carries that chip on her shoulder. Like with Kim D at the Posche. Yes, the girl was rude, but I wouldn't have concluded there was a conspiracy going on.

I screamed at the tv when I saw what Kim G was wearing to the event! She is way too old to wear that outfit. She looked ridiculous.

I agree that Kim D was trying to stir the pot. She knew what she was doing when she a)asked Ashley to be in the show and b)invited Theresa and Jacqueline to her table.

I really want crazy Danielle off the show. It's getting real old! I love Caroline and her family. I'd much rather see them than crazy Danielle and her antics!
