What is it with Theresa and her family being late to everything? Everything! I mean I could cut them slack if it's a casual meal with friends, and I have kids so I know how unexpected things crop up with kids, and can make you late at the last minute. But even then I'm talking just a little late.

But to completely miss the church Christening because your hairdresser isn't there and you have to pick the right purse for your preschooler? THat is just odd and self-centered. Just pin your hair into a bun, let your child go purseless (what's she carrying, credit cards and car keys?) and go! What will people remember more: What your hair looked like? Your children's accessories? Or that fact that you were incredibly late?

And now Melissa and Joe can't get to the gymnastic's meet on time? I did hear Teresa tell them when it was.

Now I can imagine Joe forgetting the correct time, or not communicating the correct time to Melissa-husbands can tend to do that unintentionally, bless their hearts. But never did Melissa apologize or explain why they were late. Her only defense was that Theresa is always late? Again, incredibly self-centered!

As for the First communion, she should have made it years ago. In the Catholic faith typically a first communion is made in the second grade in which case my daughter was 7 years old. At age 9 my daughter will be in 4th grade, way past communion age.

Where I live, kids make it in the 3rd grade when they're 8 or 9. My nephew has a late birthday and was 9 and in 3rd grade when he made his communion.

I disagree, I think Caroline has a soft-spot for Teresa because she likes interacting with her kids and probably because T is out there trying to make a living with her cook books and stuff and not just lying around waiting for money to fall from the sky like Danielle.
It probably seems like Caroline only tolerates her because she is much older and is at a different point in her life so she isn't doing the same things as Jacqueline and Teresa.
Caroline and her husband were very cute with the Guidice kids on the cruise, remember?

I think she's done a pretty good job with raising her own kids, but in terms of everything else? She's about the last person in the world I would take advice from.. She has rubbed me the wrong way since the very first time I heard her say: "I don't like you before I do like you.." Excuse me? Is she some kind of royalty or what? Her "hidden" message in that statement is pretty clear - "Either you do/act/behave exactly as I say, or you hit the highway".. She's a master manipulator..

I had to play that back like 3 times to make sure I was imagining it! How fitting was the word "wench" and she was clueless!!!!!!! If the shoe fits...

I agree with Starann. I do think Caroline only tolerates her. In fact, two episodes ago, she made some sort of comment about not being close or friends with Teresa - can't remember exactly. But it gave me the impression they were friendly but not really friends. I think Caroline likes kids in general. She was also annoyed by the girls on part of the trip. I can understand why. Teresa is so over the top - I don't think Caroline dislikes her, but I don't think they would be friends if it weren't for Jacqueline.

I almost choked when Fab Fred said the party would cost them roughly $50,000!?!?!?! WHAT! And then they say it's for the kids.... Really, cause the show I'm watching looks like you wanted to have a HUGE party and say it's for the kids, yet you have a photographer, an ice sculpture of you and your hubby, 'gorga money' and black jack tables. Oh and as an afterthought you ask people to bring gifts to donate to a local hospital.

How about next year you take the $50,000 you spent on the party and donate it to the hospital....then THAT would be for the kids.

Andy asked about Rich's comment about burning down the house. Joe tried to make it a joke about Rich being in Al Quaida... but Joe couldn't pronounce it correctly... I know you're shocked by that... Andy told him his comment was inapropriate and Joe said it's because Rich is Arab.
