I have to say I almost fell off the couch when "brother Joe" was with his kids on the bed and then the wife starts singing Amazing Grace and he freezes telling the kids to listen to mommy singing and how great it was!!!!!!

After watching Ashley say she thinks she deserves the brand new car because she's not addicted to drugs or anything I just got angry. It's amazing how ridiculously entitled she is. I'm sorry - but when do we start rewarding being normal? She went to summer school, got a car, lost the car, cries about not having an apartment in the city and is super disrespectful... yep... the clear answer to that situation is to buy her a Jeep!

Two questions I forgot to ask the last time I posted..

Why is Gia in gymnastics now? Is she no longer pursuing her acting/modeling career?

And the remark about the card from Melissa - about Joe and Teresa's home being "redone".. Caroline chimed in and said something about the entire house had to be gutted and "redone".. What did she mean by that? Is this still the mansion? Did they have to return all the lavish things Teresa purchased and do the house over in a more modest manner?

Are they even still living in that house now? It's hard to tell..

Oh - and "Joey's" remarks about his "poisonous" testosterone levels? I honestly thought I was going to throw up when he made those comments.. He's a pig.. What a disgusting thing to be discussing on national tv.. It seems that not a single person in Teresa's family has one ounce of class - yet every time you turn around they're spouting off about their "religious upbringing" and how important it is to them.. That really gets under my skin..

My guess is that Gia is going to do whatever she wants to do whether it lasts or not. Modeling one day, acting another, gymnastics ... I see singing in her future along with tennis.

I wondered about that since the house was a new-build since Teresa "didn't want to live in a house someone else had lived in". I remember that quote from last season (or the season before that?). So, they probably had it gutted and redone. Her bathroom is over the top cheesy!

Are they even still living in that house now? It's hard to tell..

He is a total pig. I wanted to vomit when he said that. They are totally phony religious. It's all for show. How much do you want to bet they only attend church on Christmas and Easter? lol! I bet that the church is the "family" church meaning only the parents attend on a regular basis but the kids donate and get in for baptisms, first communions and weddings. Speaking of, isn't Gia 9 yo? Old enough to make her communion? Don't you think they'd televise that since it's a big thing among Catholic Italian families?

Aside from Joe Gorga talking about his testosterone, the other thing that disgusts me is how they call Joe Guidice "Juicy Joe". Gag!!!

I think its completely wrong for Thereas to allow filming of Gia's Gymnastics-the poor girl was nervous-it made her make mistakes. Then thereas yells at her brother accusing his lateness on Gia's mistakes. A terrible Mother to do this

They need to take a clue from the NewYork wives and get the kids off the show-IMO

I guess my point is I think Gia has been doing gymnastics for awhile now - why it hasn't been brought up before now...

Well, here's my guess FWIW. I think that Teresa wanted Gia to be a model/actress and hoped that the publicity from RHWONJ would've been a feeder or launching point for that. Just like these housewives use the show to launch their singing/author/etc. careers -- Bethenny with her skinny girl margaritas, Countess Luann with her manners book, Alex with her parenting book, Kim Z's singing "career", Luann trying to break into singing, Teresa's new cookbook, etc. Why not get the kids in on it, you know? More money to be made via the kids.

I'm going to guess the model/acting thing didn't turn out as Teresa had hoped so they decided to drop the model/actress stuff and focus on something else that Gia was doing.

Either that or because they found a way to cause some drama with Uncle Joe Gorga?

I will say that Gia has somewhat grown on me this season. I thought she was a snotty little brat but from what I see on camera (which I know isn't the whole story) she seems more mature. When Milinia was pulling her hair she didn't do anything but yell for mom. She tried to stop her mom and uncle from fighting at the Christening.

Total different direction - but does anyone know how Caroline and Theresa became friends? Theresa doesn't seem like the type of friend Caroline so I was curious.

Gia is probably like most of the other NY/NJ kids that I know, totally overbooked in dance, singing, acting, gymnastics, karate, modeling, music etc. Most of my dd8's friends have at least one activity each night & weekends are totally booked. She has probably been doing gymnastics all along, we just didn't see it on tv.

As for the First communion, she should have made it years ago. In the Catholic faith typically a first communion is made in the second grade in which case my daughter was 7 years old. At age 9 my daughter will be in 4th grade, way past communion age.

He is a builder as well. There were some interesting articles online saying that they do not own the house they are living in. It was a spec house he built to sell & there is currently a builders loan out for the property, and typically that means that no one should be LIVING in the home.
