Ok, so ths is my first time posting but I've been reading this thread all season and past seasons. I just have to vent about one thing that is driving me crazy. What the heck is "the cancer"? I have lost both parents, a grandparent and father in law to various types of cancers and no one has ever refered to it as "the cancer", I thought maybe it was a Jersey thing but DH is from Jersey and it drives him nuts when they say it too (yes, I make him watch it occasionally before he leaves the room in disgust ).

I'm from NJ and never heard that either. Weird. My MIL (a RIer) puts "the" in front of store names, but not other things.

Amber said Lentil. I just restored the recording and watched it and then put closed captioning on...definitely Lentil.

Right up there with that loony twin with the "prostrate." And why are the men on RHONJ so into their *****es?? I never saw a skankier group of people, and men acting like a bunch of middle schoolers' with raging (or, IIRC correctly, "ranging"...not sure if it was this RH franchise) hormones.

I'm probably a bad person for saying this but I want to tell Amber "enough about breast cancer already" I mean I feel bad she had to deal with it but she brings it up in every conversation and it always turns back to her and her cancer

That drives me nuts! My brother in law used to say that all the time. You're not babysitting, you're their father!!

Why would Dina bring up what Teresa told her? Just to stir the pot? She wasn't even there to hear it. And I'm not quite sure why all of a sudden they are showing Jacqueline and Kathy? Strange.

Another thing that annoyed me was Teresa shopping for a smaller house... 'DOWNGRADING"... to an 8,000 sq. ft. house. IF she doesn't go to jail she should be forced to live in a GASP...2000 sq. ft. house.

the ratings have tanked this season so the producers hit up jacqueline to start participating again. she's been reduced to a "friend" (like luanne in rhony last season), but according to the tabloids both teresa and dina are very upset by her return (remember-dina thought she came back with the iron clad agreement from the producers that neither jacquline nor caroline would be on the show anymore-guess she did'nt read her contract close enough to realize it wasn't guaranteed).

dina's stirring the pot to make her self relevant-she's the same as she was the first time around BORING, and once lexie goes off to college no one is going to want to watch her (and her menagerie) just sitting around counting her shoes.

I've heard people refer to "the cancer" before. Not common, but not unheard of either. For whatever reasons, some people put the article "the" before certain nouns when it isn't necessary. Some math professors refer to "the calculus." More common around here is calling a certain supermarket, Acme, "the Acme." Many people make the name a three syllable word, Ac-a-me. Can you pick me up some eggs when you go to the Ac-a-me?

I've heard WDW references such as "We just got back from The Disney World" or "Let's go to The Blizzard Beach tomorrow."

That's so true about going to "the ac-a-me" I don't say the in front of Shoprite. But since the Acme just got knocked down, looks like you'll be going to Shoprite.

Looking forward to a bigger, brighter new "The Ac-a-me" in 2015!!!

I do most of my grocery shopping at Shoprite anyway. Acme sometimes has good sales, but in general they're too high priced for a lot of the stuff I normally buy. And that store was just too small and lacked the variety I liked.

Maybe Teresa should move into her shore house in Beach Haven West. That place can't be more than 1200 square feet.

She probably couldn't even fit half of her gaudy wardrobe into the shore house anyway.

Her shore house is well maintained. It's in her name only, not Joe's. But the street the house is on is kind of crappy. This was true even before Hurricane Sandy damaged many homes. About half the neighbors have let upkeep and maintenance slide.

I know the exterior was featured on the show a few times. Even if it hadn't been, I'm confindent 99% of viewers could drive down her street and IMMEDIATELY pick out her home. It's just SO "Teresa".

The shore house is listed at a bargain price too! Only a little over $300,000. That won't even make a dent in their debt!
