Real Housewives of MIAMI ~ Season 2 ~

OK I am going to give them a second chance as they have mostly NEW wives.

I did not care for Season 1.

PREMIERS Thursday, September 13th @9pm on BRAVO.

Season 2 gives viewers an inside look into the aspirational lives of seven women as they juggle family, work, and a spicy social scene in the hottest city in the world. Whether shopping on Ocean Drive or out on the town in South Beach, these ladies prove that in Miami the skirts are short and so are the tempers. Returning Housewives Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, and Marysol Patton are joined this season by bombshell Lisa Hochstein, supermodel Joanna Krupa, successful lawyer and chef Ana Quincoces, and celebrity dentist Karent Sierra. Also returning in a recurring role is Alexia Echevarria, who has made her son, Frankie, her number one priority following a bad automobile accident earlier this year.

I was so surprised they decided to renew this...Season 1 was a dud and their "reunion" on WWHL was a disaster! But the new cast looks good and the previews promise lots of drama, so I'm in!

The first season of Miami, when it started taping, was not meant to be another Real Housewives spinoff. It actually was supposed to be about the Miami Social scene but I believe was repackaged as one of the Housewives spinoff either during or after taping had finished.

"Season 1- On Wednesday, March 10, 2010, Bravo announced the series (then titled Miami Social Club) had been picked up, which was to be a restructuring of the failed 2009 series, Miami Social. Later, after filming was completed on the series, Bravo chose instead to make it a new extension of the Real Housewives.[5] Bravo announced on February 3, 2011 that the series would premiere later that month, they also announced that the fourth season premiere of The Real Housewives of New York City originally scheduled for February 15, would be pushed back until April."

Somebody needs to tell Joanna, if he isn't having sex with you, he IS having sex with SOMEONE! Really dislike Leah, but I always have. She is a pretentious, condescending, old drama queen...can't stand her.

This season is much better than last.

I cannot stand Joanna, she needs a reality check. He asks you to marry him you keep postponing and NOW you are ready and he is saying things are fine as is... UMMMMMM Hello he's over you. So lets see how your ultimatum works out.

Karent and the actor dude, hahahahahaha pretending to fall asleep while she is talking marriage, that was priceless.

Looks like lots of drama ahead.

Hopefully this season will be more interesting than the last. The only interesting thing about Marisol is her mother. That woman with the plastic surgeon husband seems childish. The dentist is a fool if she thinks her "boyfriend" is still into her. Honey, you are beautiful and successful. Dump him and find someone who is actually into you.
I hope we get to see that boat finished.

That was my thought too. Is she really that dense or just so self-involved that she can't see the truth?

As for Karent's "boyfriend", that man isn't monogamous with anyone. I doubt his first divorce was just because they went through a "rough patch". I'd say he was out catting around. There are so many red flags in that "relationship".

Anyway, not impressed with this group of overly self-involved and insecure women. Actually, Lea is the only one that appears to have her life together and know what is important.

Marisol's mother is just one big hot mess and a huge drama queen.

Marisol's mother's face is horrifying . Why doesn't she get it fixed? She looks worse than the cat lady. Marisol looks a bit too filled and tucked too, she better stay away from any more procedures.

I didn't watch the 1st season, but am hooked on the 2nd.

The plastic surgons's wife is sooooooo insecure...to have to put a bunch of pictures of herself up in his office!!!!! I wonder where he saw her butt 1st...maybe on a pole! ALthough I do feel badly for her that they have been trying for 2 years to have a baby.

No that Jo isn't a mess but I think Adriana should have punched Karent.

And Joe Francis cracked me up.

Heck the whole last episode was awesome. Dueling exposed nipples. Brawling drag queens. The only thing that could have made it better was is Mama Elsa was there too.

I think Joanna and Marta have serious issues (especially Joanna). She seems pretty normal when she's sober, but anyone who is that Jekyll and Hyde when they drink should not be drinking, IMO.

Lisa -- I actually like her. She's a complete ditz, but I find something endearing about her. I think it's because she's not mean at all and she's so honest. Like on one of the first episodes someone mentioned that Mama Elsa looked great and Lisa was like, "What?! No she doesn't!" She didn't say it to be mean, she was just being truthful. And it is the truth -- Elsa is horrifying to look at!

Leah -- Sometimes I like her, sometimes I don't. I find her amusing, but she doesn't seem like someone you could trust.

Ana -- I kind of like her -- well, I don't dislike her.

Adriana -- She's an egomaniac, but she doesn't bother me too much.

Karent -- Gotta agree with Adriana on this. She is incredibly phony and full of herself. She is so odd looking to me, too. Her face is very skeletal looking -- like she had some botched nose job (similar to several of the Jacksons) and I know she's a dentist (who also gives Botox injections to her patients ), but it looks like she's wearing dentures to me!

Lots and lots of drama -- much better than the 1st installment of RHOM. I'm looking forward to RHOA and RHOBH starting next week, too!

I loved how they showed Elsa dancing around alone while all the drama hit the fan at Lisa's... Hilarious!

That last episode was the most drama packed I have ever seen. The fight with the drag queens and one of them fined the dj equipment. Then Karents drama, and joanna and adrianna. I was shocked! Oh how I wish mama elsa was there. I agree with the pp, the shot of her dancing around moaning about being alone with her fan was hysterical.

I like Lea. SHe has a funny way about her, and she is always laughing at everything.

Joanna was crazy. Wonder if she and the boyfriend are still together. She was on wwhl after the episode and was just as bad when Adriana called in.

Karent was on WWHL and said her and the boyfriend are no longer together - shocker.

Elsa cracks me up. I think in the first episode she said something about a surgeon, and Marisol said 'what surgeon,' to which she replied, 'the one who messed up my face.' ... ?

I love her lines that start with 'at my age...'

'Marisol, at my age I can say whatever I want.'
'Marisol, at my age I don't have to tell you everything.'
'Marisol, at my age you should let me be happy before I die.

It probably wouldn't be as funny without the accent.
