Real, good coffee??? Where in the world???

Is there anywhere at the Magic Kingdom? We will be there at least 2 days - and they will be veeeerrrry long without a good cup of Joe!

I haven't found good coffee in the Magic Kingdom - we usually take the monorail ride to the Poly to get coffee outside of Kona- it's right to your left when you come in the door from the monorail.

I'm bringing my espresso maker. Otherwise, I'll just be a bear. ;)

Kona at the Poly

At AK there is a really good coffee Kiosk at the entrance (to the right before the gate)

Epcot Has a great kiosk at the International Gateway

Those are my 3 top spots for coffee and none of the are nescafe

I bring my own coffee and filters so I can have a good cup of coffee in the morning in my room.

Beware the coffee stand next to the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. The last time I stayed there I ordered a capuccino from that stand. It was dispensed from a spigot. At least it wasn't sweet.

We had a rental car and would go off property in the morning and get Large Dunkin donuts iced Coffees. We brought insulated cups and they allowed us to bring them into MK. It really helped my mood out ALOT.

I believe you can get Starbucks at the restaurants/cafes in the Swan/Dolphin resorts (Epcot area).

We like the coffee at Ohana character breakfast. I imagine it is the same Kona coffee at the Poly that others have mentioned.:thumbsup2

There is a great coffee stand that is non-disney run located on the way to Mission Space in Epcot.
Wonderful coffee. There is always a line of people there because everyone is so desperate to have something besides nescafe.

my DH was so miserable with the nescafe last year, we're bringing along a mini french press pot and dunkin donuts coffee to make in our room (at Pop this coming trip) - better DH is happy first thing with his favorite coffee!

Wow....Living in the PNW, I just never even thought that finding a good cup of coffee might be difficult at WDW. And here I had been planning to buy one of those refillable mugs at my resort to fill up every morning, but it sounds like I would just get the coffee syrup there.

I guess that I'll have to take the advice to bring my own coffee and filters and make sure that my room has a fridge for the half & half. I've planned an afternoon rest at the hotel on every day of the trip, so I should be able to make do with two pots a day (morning and afternoon). I assume that the AKL has room pots that use a standard 4-cup sized filter (Mr. Coffee Jr. style)? Would I have any problems with a pound of coffee in checked luggage?

Where is Dunkin Donuts just off property? We are staying at Pop Century, so no coffee maker available for us, but love Dunkin Donuts coffee, and will have the car with us and plan to drive to the parks each day anyway. Which is the closest one?

I can't find any sites that say coffee would be a problem in your checked luggage. I am going to make an order from Garden Grocer for water, canned sodas (don't want to go a whole week without Diet Dr. Pepper!), milk or half and half, and probably we'll just order some coffee from them. Won't be the same as the beans we grind at home :coffee: but it will be better than Nescafe :scared: :crazy2:

And we definitely want to try the press pot coffee when we have breakfast at Boma :goodvibes

Just an idea for using your refillable mugs for coffee in the food courts - mix half and half coffee and hot chocolate. Makes a not-too-bad mocha :rotfl2:

I believe it is extra, like the South African wine list.
I'm willing to pay $$ if it's that good! After 4 days of bad coffee on the wonder, then bad coffee at POP, I will be real bad off!!

any good coffee at MK? We will be there for MNSSHP, no dinner, so maybe the bakery? Any ideas?

I dont drink coffee but DH said that the coffee from Contemporary Grounds in CR was very good. He went there every morning on our trip

TBQH, go to McDonald's before/after you hit the parks! Their coffee is really good, as is their iced coffee! And it's cheap :goodvibes
