HI YAK!, great to see you!!! Sorry about the illness there too.

Guess I'll just have to prescribe wine and smoking to everyone. You might die of lungcancer or liver failure or both, but not of a cold!!!! :smokin:

I am starting to get some hope that things will liven up after the holidays in the old Viking boat...

Keep on rowing...............

I was going to say good night but not before I ....

Wooooohoooty I hit 2000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NAB, I remember when I was little, my brother and I (who is 12 years older) took the silver lame and threw it in big chucks onto to the tree. We thought it was great!! My mom, not so much.... We had to get everything off and hang it strand by strand. And back in the fatherland then, we didn't do the tree till Christmas Eve, which is also the big gift giving day (evening), so the timing was off, to say the least..........

Woo HOOTY to Nab's 2000 with my 1200, LOL!

:cheer2: :cheer2:    :cheer2: :cheer2:

Like the symmetry of the nana's between the cheers?? Huh, do you??

I have one coming up soon too, but I won't make it tonight. Congrats omn the hootying to NAB and Marita! Going to bed!

Blessings!

Hi Pongo!

Got caught up on sleep yet? How are you preps for xmas going?

Caught up on sleep? HARDLY LOL
I am still not used to not being at school yet.

My Christmas stuff is almost done. I have to shop for Andy on Wednesday. Then that is it.

Hwo about you?

I'm pretty good. Got all my shopping done online, still have to wrap though. Although I only buy for DH and my kids from just me, DH buys everything else.
Nicole is earning money cleaning the house for $10/hour and is doing a great job, really. I can highly recommend her for hire, LOL.

DH started pressure cleaning the back patio, and wow, what a difference. There is actually gray concrete under the dirt. It really didnt look that bad till you clean it off.... honestly!!! :teeth:

Hubby is doing the carpets on Thursday, so I am going to work and stay out of his way. Taking Friday off to do stuff like washing dishes and tableclothes and going shopping, etc. for the big party on Sunday, 20+ people.

I really do love the party, I just wish hubby wouldnt insist on having a turkey!!!!! It just keeps me in the kitchen way too much, even if he says he is making it. You all know how that goes, all the other stuff, the side dishes, the rolls, yadayadayada.... Plus we are getting a honey baked spiral ham. I could go with just that.

On the plus side, we are having bowle, a punch made with sugared strawberries soaked overnight covered by some wine in the fridge, then the next day, add the remainder of the wine (think a gallon of wine) when you are ready to serve add a bottle of champage. In the old days we added some brandy too, but we dont do that anymore.....
It is served in this really neat big ceramic bowl with relief pictures of the castles along the Rhine river on it, with matching mugs. It was a wedding present from DH's army buddies. Sadly, we lost about 4 mugs so far, only 8 left... Which maybe isnt all that bad for annual use for 36 years, but irreplacable nonetheless.

WOO HOOTIES to NAB and MARITA!!!!!!!

Hi, YAK! I missed you!!! Loved your son's song - never heard that version before.

Have you (or anyone else) heard from Gram at Disney?

Shimmy In....

Hey! I'm about to WOO HOOOty soonly too!

Alas, I wish I could stay and share but Norah has the Gomboo. She JUST had it on Thanksgiving!!! It's wayyyy worse this time because she has a beauty of a fever! It's Gomboo II. Sounds like an action adventure flick!

"Gomboo II: This Time It's Personal!"

:smooth: I crack myself UP!

Sashay on out....((good night!))

I'm Back!!!

Anybody remember me?

I had a fabulous trip. FABULOUS

Back to the real world that includes, shopping for Christmas, wrapping, baking, cleaning, etc.etc. And to unpack, which I haven't done yet

Hope everyone is healthy and happy. Haven't even begun to catch up.

Did not see Pumba :confused3

Cause it needs to be done. Take what you need
:grouphug: :artist: :moped: :smokin: :surfweb:  :stir: popcorn:: :cheer2:

And of course :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

grammy, I said grammy to a total stranger .....thought for sure it was you......the lady looked at me like a dufus.......hmmmmm so did HUBBY...hahaha...we had a great time too and came home tuckered out. The only bad day was thursday night for the MVMCP. So we stayed and got a credit to our credit card. Already checked and it was there.
We just sort of shuffled our feet from place to place. We were tired. IF you saw a man with a santa beard that was hubby.

Welcome home, Gram! You WERE missed!!! :dance3:

Lots of sick peeps and kiddos here, so DON'T lick your keyboard!

Pumba - we were suppossed to go to the party Thursday night. But it was pouring. So no soup for me. I passed.

Don't feel bad for false sightings. I have had a million of them. A couple this trip. Saving those ditties for the trippie, that won't start till after Christmas :3dglasses BUT did your hubby have on shorts and a Santa type hat in Epcot on Wednesday(?), I think it was Wednesday. I would have to check my notes for sure which are still packed. If so, I saw you, but didn't know it. I was waiting for someone to yell GRAMMY

Welcome Back to all who just returned! Hope you had wonderful trips!

Grammy!!! Love the pictures!!! :thumbsup2

Oh Bonnie, I forgot, do you know Pongo and Dre (and Lacto who is still MIA) and Mark and Rhonda and Haley?

We haven't been gone that long!! :teeth:

Hello everyone!

Just a :moped: to say:

Thanks Nab and Marita for the the kind words on my stupid project :goodvibes

I swear it would be better to be paired with elementary students that supposed other grad school students. Good grief I'm about ready to either :furious: or  . At this point I am working to get the project completed myself so that my grade doesn't suffer ;)

Only 2 more days and this course is in the books
