Morning all!

Wesley made me get up at 8. What does he have against sleeping in? (Mark left just after 7, so I shouldn't complain.)

Time to get ready for church... we started a new Sunday School class a few weeks ago (the week Amy came, actually), and Mark says the preacher's wife needs to attend Sunday School. (He let me slide for about 4 months, because the other class we were attending was... umm... how do I put this nicely? ... It was awful.) But now I'm back to having to go. Actually, this new class is kind of fun. But I now have an hour less to play on Sunday mornings.

I took the Muppet quiz, as well, just didn't bother to copy/paste the code. I'm Kermit. Funny, I consider myself to be more of the Scooter type. Chris, NO SURPRISE on yours!! LOL!!!

Has everyone seen that Mark posted the first part of his Anniversary trip report? And that I added pics to my "girls weekend" trip report? (I beg shamelessly, I tell ya... shamelessly!!) Not sure if I will do a tr for the anniversary trip or not. What do y'all think?

Just finished up some yard work. We can add landscaper to my list of skills. Dude, I'm so skills.


The correct response to the opening licks of Sweet Home Alabama (take note: Mark there is no sweet home Tallahassee. There's a reason for that!) is "turn it up."

Am I the only one who saw the news the morning about 17 terrorists arrested in Canada and wondered whether Mel was one of them? No reason.

Morning All!!!! Shoutout to everyone. Except for that idiot ZZUB.

First of all, ZZUB, I'm so pleased to see that you finally hauled your lazy, calorie-starved carcass up from your deskchair and did some yardwork. Yourself. For a change. Besides just Me(l). Nice. BTW... the last time I was over I completely filled your lawnmower with gas before I put it back in your garage. FYI. Too bad it was a cordless electric one.

Secondly... that response to Mark made me laugh so hard that I lost my front tooth and became temporarily deafened in one ear. Plus, somehow, I managed to set the kitchen on fire. Too. CRAP!

Third, and finally, I just want you to know that I am BEYOND offended. That's right, Bucko. Just because I stalk you here on the Dis, at your home and place of work... AND to the video store where I caught you renting "Nine to Five" AGAIN... is no reason to compare me to a load of terrible criminals. And... FYI... it seems that BOTH Lily Tomlin AND Mickey Mouse are winning that battle for your wallet. Plus, I do nice things for you. I bake you muffins using The General's secret recipe, I clean your office, water your silk plants and I even walked your dog that one time. Until the cranky thing bit me. For trying to plant a spycam in his collar. Geez. That's one high-strung hound you have ZZUB. FYI. Anywho... my point is that you don't have to be so MEAN to me. All the time.

Sorry I've been MIA for about 24 hours. Busy day yesterday, and unexpected dinner out with friends last night. I decided to be a good girl and give my husband (& kids) my undivided attention for a change.

And what is my payback? He has now caught whatever it is that I had last week (I'm still coughing like the dickens every 2 seconds) and is in bed siiiiiiick. Worse than I was, I think. Though lucky him, on a rainy Sunday morning. I got sick in the middle of the week, so I had to go to work. Of course, no day's a day off for him. He was supposed to attend a firefighter's memorial AND the high school graduation today (he's a City official), and he had to call in to both. He's Nyquilled up for the day and will probably recover way faster than I did.

Anyway, thanks, ladies, for all those lovely pictures. If it wasn't pouring out, I'd be jumpin in the pool too. Though, Mel, I agree with you on the Mr. Silly post. Fabio.....NOT a fastpass! Kinda yuck in my book.
