Jami!!! I love your pictures.
Where else are you taking our viking friend?

Guess what, TLC has a program on bat invasion tonight. Guano and all. Can cause blindness I think they said, but then I was distracted and might be wrong. The program is called "This house must go". Will post more if I learn anything of interest.

You people had me at Hello...

This afternoon The Fixers went to the movies. Pluto was so excited! He's been waiting to see Cars. He was OK in the van but would not leave E to buckle in his own seat!

I picked up a booster seat, but Pluto had to watch from my knees. For some reason, my family wouldn't let me take a picture until the end of the movie :confused3 . I mean, there were only 100,000 people in the theater. What's one flash?

Sheridac, PM me his next destination and dates. We are growing attached...NO RUSH, please.

Dearest Jami! You had me before hello! I loved your tr, remember?! Hay plouto has inspired me to take the kids to see Cars tomorrow. Thanks! But we are going to skip the "butter" on the popcorn....

Poor you, having to send our mascot on. He looks like one of the family! But then, the lucky tike is heading back to the world, isn't he?!

LYMI! You are an amazing woman! :teeth:

CONSIDER YOURSELVES SHOUTED AT!!!

Mr. Sheridac and I would like to thank you all, so very much, for your anniversary well wishes. As most of you are aware, we had a very special night. And, as promised, a G rated version of the night.

After waiting an obscene length of time for Mr. Sheridac to get prettied up, we did manage to leave for church on time. Interestingly, we have not attended Mass at the church where we were married in fact, since we were married. We moved about 30 minutes away and we were happily adopted into our current congregation. Nevertheless, we were warmly welcomed. I do have one pic from the church, but I will NOT be posting that, Poor 150 year old usher had a little visual difficulties. Either that, or he was blinded by my stunning beauty. Anyhoo… we were asked to present the gifts during Mass. Which was a lovely gesture on their part. Unfortunately, on the way back, I bee lined for the wrong pew. Oopsies!!! Try getting up and tiptoeing back to the proper pew with about 150 eyes on you, instead of the most solemn part of the Mass. Mr. Sheridac’s comment here was regarding my attention seeking behavior??? Really, me??? Why whatever do you mean?? An aside here, because I can, interestingly enough, I experienced an 80’s flashback during Mass as the cantor was sporting a mullet. Unfortunately for him, it was not a good look.

Because I KNOW you want to know about my cute shoes, here they are. And Pongo, notice the bag?? I did like the larger size one sooo much I went back and got the medium sized one too!!

And because I know the boys would want to see more of my legs, here they are. Bon A petit boys!
84902shoes2-med.JPG

We had dinner at this beautiful old lakeside inn in a postcard perfect village another 30 minutes from where we live. In the opposite direction. No matter. I can DIS from my phone while Mr. Sheridac is driving!! Best of both worlds baby!!!!!

Quick recap of the meal, because I can. You are trapped. Bwahhaaa! Notice in this picture my antics have already driven Mr. Sheridac to drink??
84902salad.JPG

No, these are not out of order. Apparently my behavior warranted a second round. Mark, you would love this wine!!! Schuman Nagler, a German Riesling. YUMMY!!
84902salad2.JPG

CHAPPIE!!!! I got my shrimp baby!!! I truly do hope you are having the best time ever, but we miss you baby so get your butt back here!!!

I chose the London broil while Mr. Sheridac had the prime rib. Both were outstanding and, I have to say, best $125 smackeroonies I’ve laid down for a meal since Le Cellier ( Hi OZ!!!!)
Sorry, I have been advised that this pic identified our secret location.

Once again, we both would like to thank you all for your congrats and well wishes. I read them all and showed them all to Mr. Sheridac as well. It’s difficult, I think, for someone not a part of our little community to understand what it means to all of us, and you all helped him achieve a greater understanding. And I thank you for that. Although he does still think I’m a bit of an attention-seeking freak!!! And he has questions about your sanity as well!!!

And, last but not least, the happy couple. This might not stay up for long kids, so no quotes please. Mr. Sheridac reserves the right to remain silent!!
Sorry folks, now you see it, now you don't!!

CHRIS! TOO FAB!

Your are the cutest little couple! and love the pix. Don't forget about the pm for horsey!

Hope you had a great night!

Morning All, (Sorry specific shout outs are against my religion and is against the law in the state I live in)
Its a good day for this Peggy Lee song (except for the paying your bills line):

Yes, it's a good day for singing a song,
and it's a good day for moving alone; (ALONG)
Yes, it's a good day, how could anything go wrong,
A good day from morning' till night

Yes, it's a good day for shining your shoes,
and it's a good day for losing the blues;
Everything go gain and nothing' to lose, (TO GAIN)
'Cause it's a good day from morning' till night

I said to the Sun, ' Good morning sun
Rise and shine today'
You know you've gotta get going
If you're gonna make a showin'
And you know you've got the right of way.

'Cause it's a good day for paying your bills;
And it's a good day for curing your ills,
So take a deep breath and throw away your pills;
'Cause it's a good day from morning' till night.

CHRIS! Gorgeous pics! Sounds like a wonderful evening, wrong pew and all! ;) You'd better keep your sweet hubby out of sight. You know how we Maelstrom girls are... :rotfl2:

Morning everyone!! I feel like I'm out of a time warp now. Much, much better!

Here's our latest. Wesley still has strep. SIGH!!! He is on Zithromax this time. Say a prayer, think happy thoughts, send pixie dust, cross your fingers. PLEASE!! Cause this is getting old!

We saw Mickey's Magic Show on Friday, in ATLANTA, LaLa... we did not trek back to the World for the weekend. Unfortunately. Our Wendy is now Alice, Snow White, and a Magic-ette. I think. Spent most of the day with her, after the show. She is coming here tonight and staying through Wednesday.

More later, gotta go see why Da Rev, who normally is at church by 7:30 on Sundays, is still in bed...

:grouphug: to all, cause I MISSED you yesterday!!!

Sher....Great pics. LOVE THE SHOES! :thumbsup2 :teeth:
Sounds like you had a great time! :teeth: (you're making me hungry!) ;)

Hoop, I enjoy your songs every day! :teeth:

Sher, I am blinded by your beauty! You and Mr. Sheridac are a stunning couple. I must say, though, when I woke up and ritually stumbled in here to refresh our thread, I was not expecting to see your legs before coffee. Now I am awake and have had a good little giggle and the boys have had their thrill. I am so happy for both of you and see that you were, indeed, a child bride. Please thank your fine Mr. for sharing you with us. I think he and my Shrek would have much to discuss :rotfl2: :confused3 .

Rho(n)da, I do hope Wesley beats this repeat strep soon! I am so sorry. I know it is getting tiresome for all of you. Here are some dancing nanas for him        and one of these pirate: for your sweet little guy.

ODG, 100!! :Pinkbounc :dance3: I am getting close to 500. Watch out. Post count-boosts on the way.

Horsey, :grouphug: , no, :grouphug: :grouphug: no, more... :grouphug:  :grouphug: :goodvibes :grouphug: Please stick Pooh in there with you. BORG! Oh, this guy :clown: loves ya.

Go see Cars today people popcorn:: !! Pluto is already nagging me to see it again.

Jen-one-of-ten,

As much as I want to take him with us today, my family will not let me take him to church. We'll have to see what kind of trouble he gets into when we get back.

It's a full day here people! I'm outtie...

Sher!!!!

Those were some GREAT pictures! You are definitely one hot Mama! Looks like yall had a great night out. Thanks for posting that. I love the one with the shoes. Too cute. Yall look great together!

Jami: Your little boy is adorable. And the Traveling Pluto too. Looks like yall had a lot of fun.

Rhonda: Sorry Wesley has strep again. Poor little guy. Hope he's feeling better soon. And thanks for clearing up the fact that yall weren't in Disney again. I read the Mickey's Magic Show part and not the Atlanta part and just assumed yall were going back. You'll have to do a mini trippie and give us the low down when you get a chance.

Hoop There It Is: You are definitely The Maelstrom Music Man.

Okay, we went to see Cars last night. It was really good. The racing scenes just blew me away. Pixar Rocks. Larry The Cable Guy was really funny and I am currently trying to figure out how to work the phrase "I'm happier than a tornado in a trailer park" into everyday conversation. DS hid his eyes and giggled through the scenes where the cars were flirting. DD came home and promptly had to draw a picture of the Cars. If you've read the TR you'll remember that she is quite the artist. We got in pretty late and I told her it was bedtime and that she could draw it in the morning. She broke down in tears and told me she had to draw it right then. It couldn't wait. Being the oak that I am, I gave in and gave her a piece of paper and told her she had five minutes. The child was not going to sleep until she drew a picture of Lightning McQueen and Sally. And Sally with a little baby car. And Lightning McQueen watching Sally with the baby car. I guess she felt they needed a family and she wasn't going to bed until she gave them one.

Horseybabygirl, Meeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllllll, Chappie (he's here in spirit I think), PongoPerdiGirl (how's the pooch?), PP, ZZUB, Jami, Marky Mark, FrickFrickFricketyFrickles (where are you?), Lou, Donna, Ash (I didn't use the nickname), 2IAB, Shelby, kpk89,

.......

(((((((((((((SLAP)))))))))))))))))

Gotta run. Time for church. See yall later.

Mornin' Maelstromers!

I missed you all yesterday.

Zzub - excellent movie review!

This was me yesterday:

This is me now:

MINI TR WARNING: YAK Goes to the Dentist.

I went to the Dentist yesterday, while y'all enjoyed your day trying to DIS!

Had my teeth cleaned. I don't really grove on the meat-hook treatment, but we all have to have it done. Nice shiney white teeth are good.
I'm also an obsessive flosser. In the car
You should see the looks I get. Sometimes people are thinking I'm flipping them the....but no, it's the handy-dandy flossing picks.
Instead of doing whatever everyone else does while driving - read, put on makeup, eat, and dis, I floss.

Dentist is thrilled. Gums and good, teeth are good.

Then............the bad news.

Instead of the planned root canal ( :scared1: )
He decides, he cannot save my tooth.
My back molar, I've had since birth......well 10 yrs old or so, has to come out.

I'm thinking, no problem - pull a tooth. Much better than root canal.

OOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Who knew I had funny roots. Fused. Intertwined. Hard to pull out.

I can't even describe it.
The crunching, the drilling, the pulling, the screaming, the gushing...

(everyone Zzub here.......if you must)

He worked on the tooth for 1 1/2 hours.

I actually asked to get up to go to the potty in the middle of it!

Then five stitches. :scared1: :scared1:

Very nice! All for the price of my next Disney trip.

--------------------

Sher - thanks for posting the pic's of your lovely night!
I cried!
Not exactly over the great time you were having, but the food.
It looked so good.
I had pudding for dinner!

Jami - excellent chronicles of viking pooh!
DD is already planning his adventures for July!

Everyone else:

Hey Yak, I know what you mean. I had two wisdom teeth pulled last year. The first one (top) came out in about 5 minutes. No problem. The second one (bottom)......at one point I thought the dentist was going to climb on top of me and put his knee on my chest for leverage!!!! The funny thing was afterward as I thought about it, it wasn't so much as pain as it was the stress of seeing how hard it was for someone who does this for a living.
