Twinkie-- funny you should talk about spelling this morning. DS just got home and is agrueing with us that the dictionary is wrong. He is in grade 4 and has a spelling test tomorrow. Yesterday he had to use the word in a sentence and I saw he spelled it wrong. First he said that is how the teacher had it spelled on the board. I looked it up in the dictionary and showed him. That was last night. Today he said he knew his words and started with that one. I said wrong. Now he is crying saying the dictionary is wrong.....

And the word is......Probably.....He says it is spelled Probbaly. I am a mean mommy and told him to write it out 20 times the right way. Will have to see it it sinks in by tomorrow.

Hey, NAB! Yes, I teach Pre-K (4-year-olds) right now. It is SO not my age group. I've never taught the 4's before. I normally teach Kindergarten, and will be again next year. I teach at a private academy and it is a lot less stressful than public school, but the parents are far more picky! Luckily, I have a great group of parents, but I've seen some scary interractions with the other teachers.

What do you do?

Toot-- I am a stressed out stay at home mom. Stress because I hate homework as much as the kids. And have a 9 year old going on 17. He really is testing me lately. But I am lucky that I can stay home....and Dis. Hubby works shifts so we have days off together when they are in school.

ASO - pongo I did get some at my Target, then they were gone, sometimes you can find them by the jewelry, sometimes by the hair stuff - sometimes our WalMart has them, but the last time I got them was at WALGREENS!!!! Quick before the town buys them all up!!

Its dh, but I have him on hold, I wanted to post a pic of DD trick or treating!!

She took a WDW Shopping bag to get her treats in!! She was the only purple Cleopatra out there!! She has a thing for wigs!! DS' girlfriend came up to interview (she got the job!! WOOHOO!) and I told her she was obligated to wear a "costume" (it was way cold, dd did layers, and wore UGG type boots!!) She could've gone as DS gf, wearing his letterman jacket!! BUT she choose *my* girl scout coat - I was a GS in high school, and an "honorary Boy Scout" I collected patches, and mom bought me a "red coat" to sew them on!!

I told y'all I was a dork!!!
