Reading, seeing and hearing Part 4

Wow! What a beautiful day! Of course, I spent most of it delivering chocolate (to my sisters and dad as a thank you for watching the kids last weekend), visiting grandmothers, trying to fix my mothers computer (a lost cause!), food shopping, and cooking an actual meal. Now the boys (yes, Jay included) are off to the local "county fair", and I finally have some quiet time. Of course, I also have a sink full of dishes, but I'm too tired to do them at the moment. Don't have a fit, Tink, my counters are clean. And the dishes will be done before bed tonight. OK?!

I am worried about Jami. Where is she? I hope she is getting some much needed rest and recovery.

SD, happy to hear you and Doc like American President. I am enjoying Studio 60 more and more each week. You are right that the setting is not as compelling, but I like the characters and the Sorkin-esque flavor. Well, in fact, it isn't Sorkin-esque. It's Sorkin. I was just stealing 1/2 a line from the movie. (Capra-esque...)

I have to go try to work some more on my lame-o TR. I keep bringing it up because I need to feel obligated to do it. And the more people I promise it to, the more bound to it I'll be!

Horseybaby! Why are you under the weather? Is it just disneyschadenfreude or are you actually sick? Start planning your NEXT trip, baby. The one you are leaving on soon. I would LOVE to be going on that one.....although I'm happy to be planning mine, too

Carson, who is 7, is growing up. He wants to be George Washington for Halloween. He drew the most amazing costume with acuoutrements. I love how they grow, these chillens.....

Hi all and thanks for missing me (ASH baby!!!) here and on the phone...(Sher! Horsey! Gram!)

I am STILL fighting this ear thing. We went to my hometown for the day where I had my Daddy look in my ears (he's a pediatrician). He sad, "Yep. They are full of fluid!" No kidding....

It's been a busy weekend here and we are not done yet as we have a dinner tonight and must leave in about 20 mins.

Yesterday A had a football game, I napped (again!), then we went with A's team and families to see "Facing the Giants" and for pizza after. We loved the movie and especially appreciated the open Christian perspective. For our family, it is the exact life message we want our children to internalize want to try to live by ourselves. No matter your faith, it's a terrific underdog story you will love if you are a sucker for those things!

Today was my mother's family reunion two hours away. I slept both ways. I can't get enough sleep!

I love "American President" Ash. What a great Sunday morning.

Horseybabygirlfriend, It's post-Disney Stress Disorder. I have it too, compounded by physical yuck. It has provided just the excuse I needed to sleep and hide in my house as much as I can!

I may be a better M2er this week but am trying to read all your words!

Got a great nap...till the boys woke me up, being boys!
DH did all the laundry AND folded it (but I have to put it away, boo!)
We are having "breakfast" for dinner, it'll taste better!
Went to church, too!
AND Forrest Gump is on...which is one gooood flick! Jenny bugs me, though.

YUP, it is one great day! (Forest Gump voice) "For no particular reason at all."

ALERT: I have an ADR for Le Cellier on Christmas Eve as 4:20 that I can cancel because I got another one for 5:20 for the CP package.

I kept it for a while, and would love to cancel it and coordinate it so that one of my DISfriends could get the ADR?? Anyone gonna be there for Christmas Eve to see Gary Sinise do the CP that night maybe??? HHHMMMM?????
