SD, I'll be curious to hear what you think of the 2nd 1/2 of Studio 60. I have it on TiVo. If I have time, I may re-watch it to evaluate the 1st 1/2 again now that I've re-acclimated myself to Sorkin's style of writing. I do love Bradley and Matthew. My husband thought Amanda Peet was smiling too much. I think it was purposeful, to show her confidence and new take on things. Guess we'll see.

Oh, and forgot to say, Welcome Marsha!

Kim, hope Piper is feeling better. And, if Mel checks in, hope everyone is healthy up there now. Did someone else have a sick kid? I seem to think someone did, but I can't remember. Frick? At any rate, everyone STAY HEALTHY. We have a big week coming up. (Yes, even those of you not going. You have to keep up the insanity over here!)

Okay, the second half was much better than the first. I realize they had to set the stage for Dan and Matt to take over S60, but the explication of the first 25 mins or so was tres boring. However, they did seem to hit their stride in the second half. Doc and I found the Dan and Matt characters to be slightly biographical in nature given Sorkin's run-in with the white powder. Plus, he and Tommy Schlamme are good friends as I understand. One other thing that causes me some pause still is that there is no way that the depth of WW can be approached simply due to the relatively vapid nature of TV versus the fate of a country. . .at least for me. Still, I plan to watch S60 as anything Sorkin writes tends to be light years beyond most hacks in the TV industry.

Oh, and MSO to all. . .only, I don't do MSOs. So, how about a MGO? I do those. . .well. . .

One of my claims to fame is that I once saw Strom Thurmond puke his guts up just outside the door of my VIP lounge at Andrews AFB. Not only did he LOOK like death, he was puking like he was near it. I guess he had partied too hard the night before. . .doin' the tango with some 85-yr old PYT. . .well, she would be to him!

Haven't heard if I got it right.....I'm soooooo bad a riddles. They confuzzel me bad!

Uneventful night at the rink. Just gossiped with the skating Mom's. They think I'm NUTZ with a capital Z for going to Disney without my kidlets! And for a girlz/vikings weekend! I didn't tell them about y'all.....because I'm sure they'd ban me from the ice!

The bad thing is that DD has a competition on Sunday Oct 1, and test day on Tuesday Oct 3rd. Nice time for skating-mom to be away!!! She's OK about it and I've arranged for help.

Busy day today ~ too.
