Afternoon shoutout to ALL! Especially the dads out there. Hope y'all have a wonderful day tomorrow because IMHO we have some of the BEST dads in the world on this thread!

I've been shopping ALL day and I'm whipped. Dick actually took me to a REAL mall! To buy a bathing suit! Gotta love him for that, huh? The child came as well and both were very good sports. I have to say that I think my son is becoming quite protective of his mommy lately. Every time I asked him his opinion of a certain suit he'd cover his eyes and go, "MOM! NO!! I will NOT allow men other than Dad to look at you in something like THAT!" Meaning, of course, that I was showing too much of my God given assets. I think. Either that or my butt was hanging out too much, lol.

We, as a family, finally decided on a lovely turquoise tankini top with white, brown and tuquoise bikini bottoms in a retro print. Cause I'm ALL about the retro. I also got a very cute black flowy skirt.

I was about to get away with yet another pair of flip flops, but I guess it was not meant to be today. I was going to post these last night but the mood wasn't right. So here are my new sparkly flip flops. For Pongo and Sher.

I'm off to make my family some gumbo. See y'all later!

Each year the Kindergarteners and 1st graders sing and sign this song at my DS's school's End-O-Year Picnic....talk about water works!!

Just got home from CARS and found we had slipped to page 2 again...what's goin' on people???

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the movie, had some nacho's and then after we went to Cold Stone for a loverly Mint with Brownies...what a wonderful dinner huh? Yes, I've heard that they don't wash the stone...it's like 0 degrees...what germ is gonna live on that?
Oh well we'll make up for it tomorrow. DH is grilling steaks for Father's Day. They've been marinating since about 10 this morning...lots of garlic and greek seasoning. Yummy. Can't wait.
