A 9 year old boy is standing outside a store smoking a cigarette. A man comes out and says, "hey kid, you're too young to smoke, that stuff will kill you." I was not able to post on your trip report today before THE HORRIBLE DECISION of closing your trip report was made Check out so many other threads that have family histories imparted that are still open and I just do not understand the decision behind this

My thoughts are with you and yours. While I realize that Beth has grown older I am sure that this event has effected her in ways that most of us can only hope to never experience. Her smiles and attention to her siblings shows what wonderful support and parenting that she has received

Where exactly would one post a trip report that contains a Disney World trip along with odd tid bits of personal background information? Yes, I am referring to 1000thhappyhaunt's trip report that has now been closed for a 2nd time. It is obvious that the Trip Report board is not the right place, but where would her style of Trip Report be welcome? As you know, it was a very popular thread and it is a shame if she would not be able to continue it somewhere. Would the CB welcome this type of thread, or would it be moved/closed because it is a trip report? I don't mean to start a debate of any kind, I would just like to know if there is a more appropriate place for it. Thank You.

Hi everyone!

I'm a longtime lurker on these boards, and I've particularly loved reading 1000thhappyhaunts trip reports. I just wanted to give a little support to Mel (am I cool enough to use a first name yet?) I hope she knows that her wonderful writing style has transported me to the World right with her family. I wrote an e-mail to the webmaster explaining how dissapointed I was with the decision to close her trip report.

If Mel reads this I would just like to thank her for giving me the chance to experience Walt Disney World through the eyes of a serious little girl, an innocent little boy, and a koala. And really, that is quite a unique experience! Thanks for the magic Mel, and if you do continue your report anywhere please let me in on the location. I would love to see how it ends. And if any of the really cool kids who know how to get in touch with Mel reads this, could you relay this message for me? Thank you!
