Reading, seeing and hearing Part 2

Dateline, somewhere in the KPK household. A voice, small and troubled, emanates from the bathroom.

"Mummy? I'm having a wittle pwobwem. Can you help me?"

These words are never fun to hear (though the wittle accent is adowable. to me, anyway). from a child who has just informed you "I need to go poop!! Hurry!"

I go in and find my youngest darling on the loo, with her head sort of twisted because she's trying to look behind her into the bowl.

"Mummy? My poop dwipped out in the not-correct way."

:rotfl2:

The big D. Poor kid. Thought she had a probwem with her technique.

LOL, Kimmie.

I am past those problem with my kids, but hope to have of those in the future with grandkids. (strike that, the pooping and puking, not the grandkids).

Why am I saying this???? My grandkids will have perfect toilet and puking manners, right?

Tell me it will be so, please!!!!

PS: Is there any hope? GRAMMY????????????????

Okay, PHEW! My faith in you has been restored. And, yes, you are correct. Arsenio is a definite bad bonus. Plus he called the song "Merry, Merry Christmas", so he's bad and stupid!!!

Glad we worked that out.

I was nervous that a jell-o wrestling match might be required...

that, or a creme puff. ninja style. ;)

Usually not on page two first thing in the morning......Morning everyone.

Well, apparently I have stress, or a heart condition.

For the last few weeks I have been waking up in the morning with heaviness in my chest. Kinda like something heavy had been sitting on my chest. Yesterday it never went away. I didn't have any problems breathing, though, and it wasn't really a pain, just there and a little sore. I can feel it most if I lean over, or try and pick up the kids.

So yesterday I was at my Mom's watching my sister play a computer game and suddenly my left arm went numb and tingly. Then my heart started racing and I was dizzy. I got up, and stumbled through the house loudly calling for my Mom. She had me lay down and my heart stopped racing, but my arm was still numb. So we called the DR and went right in. He listened to my heart and said he could hear irregular beats. I mentioned having gone through lots and lots of tests as a teen for Long QT, so he did a EKG. Said it looked normal, gave me a perscription for something to regulate my heart beat, told me no more caffine(I only drink one cup a day) and said to drink gatoraid. He also told me I needed to see a Cardioligist to check further and make sure everything is okay. So I go on the 7th of July. My arm stayed numb, or what it felt like was asleep, for the rest of the day yesterday. It still is a little heavy, but not as bad. He also said this could all be do to the stress I am under right now.

So I guess I don't have it all together like you thought. Secretly, my body is freaking out because of the stress.

We did find one person who is willing to rent month to month. We went and looked at the outside/inside the windows of the place last night. It's in the part of town we wanted to avoid, but it's brand new and it looked to be more quiet around there than in other parts of that area. Plus a cop lived right around the corner. So, Chad's going to talk to him today about what the month to month involves, and if it's looks like it'll work out, I think we're going to take it. It's a duplex, blech, but I guess that's our only option and it's not forever. Our builder said once we get through permitting and actually can start on the house itself, he hopes to get it done in 3-4 months. But, I'm not holding my breath. I've seen what happens to houses being built in the rainy/hurricane season. Sometimes they have to sit for months.

Only 2 more days until the BEACH!

Mommy Poppins- That sounds scary, hope everything works out for you so
so that you can relieve some of your stress. Stress does
funny things to a body.

Amanda!!!! Behave yourself. We won't have any young, vibrant Vikings collapsing on us. I can't wait for you to get to the BEACH. Relax!

Take it easy baby! That is scary. You really need this vacation. Make sure Chad helps out with the kids so you can REALLY relax. And good luck on the rental. I'm sure you will feel much better when you can get into your "own" place.

You are too young for such symptoms! Make sure to do everything the Dr. tells you, and CALL him if any other weird things happen.

Take care!

MommyP :grouphug:

Take the duplex and maybe you can relax. Get the crocs, the kids, and the BB gun and get out of dodge. :rotfl2: Cause you know I  ya.

Turning the page back to one

Amanda! I am glad you are getting a place of your own. And yes it is temporary. You will get through this. :thumbsup2

Tink. Great job! Good luck and I am rooting for you.

Lala, sorry I missed ya.

Ash, Hi baby. Thanks for that over there....

Grammy and Sher....um morning reports?

JW....I concur with the consensus here. You can not consistently just say good morning to one sweetie. So I will start it...

Hello JW Sweetheart. From another Sweetie...

Wanted to share some of my workout songs

Mother's Little Helper - The Stones
Born to Run- Springsteen
These are the Days- 10,000 Maniacs
Pata Pata- Miriam Makeba
Hips Don't Lie- Shakira
Let's Spend the Night Together- The Stones
My Humps- Black Eyed Peas
Crazy Little Thing Called Love- Queen
Skin and Bones - The Sundays
Pretty Vegas - INXS
Life is a Highway- Rascal Flats
Immigrant Song- Zepplin
Bohemian Rhapsody- Queen
Who Are You- THe Who

The Stones- Forty Licks Disc One is about 32 minutes and nearly all the songs are a great beat for cardio. It ends with spend the night together, which i sometimes replay to add a few more minutes..

The Sundays- Reading, Writing, Arithmetic is another awesome album that keeps you moving for 30 minutes....

Have a great day all. :yay:

Amanda! Make sure you do everything the dr. tells you - and for heavens sake, make sure you actually RELAX at the beach! That is so scary - let us know how the cardiologist appt. goes. And good luck on the duplex - it'll be so much better to be out of the place you're in now!

Morning shout (to everyone, or almost everyone, everyone that I normally shout to, because no one else has asked to be added to the shout, which I will do, if you ask, because at this point I don't know you're missing): YAK, Sher, HorseyBubbles, La2, Rhonda, Erinella, Grammy, Ash, 2IAB, Kimmiepoo, Donna, Mel, Tink, JavaSteph, Shelby, Haley, Brandt, SNAP, PrincessAurora, Gerrybon, Frickles, Jamal, NM, PPG, PP, MP, DMM, ODG, Sid, NAB, Minnie, spectrum-turbo, Mark, Lou, Chapstick, Ed, Joe, MG, LG, hoop, Mr. Silly, ZZUB(should I remove him from the shout?), darrylpan and whoever I missed that will never let me forget it

Now, Amanda honey, I hope the rental works out, that should help out a lot, I think, about the stress. And enjoy your vacation. Nothing can relieve stress like listening to the waves, and seeing the boys have fun!

Everyone else - happy morning! I'm working again today (really really).

 to everyone!

Amy
