"Reading" Old Park Hopper Passes

I was under the impression that I could take my old park hopper passes to the Guest Relations counter of any Disney resort to "read" how many days are left on the pass. Is this correct or can it only be done at the gate or at DTD guest relations?

You are right any resort will do it for you. You get a print out of what you did on days too. Like on Jan 1st '98 i was in MK
