What is WRONG with me?? OMG, I don't want to turn the page, but I do.
It is called The Girl Next Door by Jack Ketchum. If you have read it, tell me you got through it OK. I feel sick. But now I need to know what happens. ( A girl and her sister move in next door to a 12 o boy. Their parents died, so they move in with their Aunt, well, the woman abuses them and tortures them)
It is hard for me to remember the main character is only 12, and he is just as confused and scared on what to do. I keep screaming in my head DO SOMETHING DAMMIT. A 12 yo in 1958 didn't have much confidence in adult believing little kids I guess.
