I just practiced from home for the 10am slot and when I went to choose the person who will be at the park with me in a few weeks to add, she was not listed in the app. I've never seen that before and afterward when I checked my Family & Friends list, she was in there. Has anyone experienced this? I do have about 7 people in there from previous trips and I'm wondering if I should just delete everyone except for her?

Yes, since the new MDE version update came out, multiple people are experiencing the same issue.

if you can delete people, do so it'll be easier at the time to pick. As for missing people if you read back, some have experienced same issue, especially with apple phones

Ya, when I had BG1 when I went a few weeks ago, they didn't open til closer to 1130

According to my data, BG 1 has been called within 10 minutes of 10am every day but 7/17. Since reopening, of course.

Yes, but I have heard the best thing to do if that happens in the park is proceed to book the boarding group without her and then go to one of the guest experience CMs and have them add the missing person/people.

I think you meant to quote @Duke07 , but I completely agree with you!! That's what guests should be doing if there is an issue.

I've had successful practice runs every morning - not on Wifi, 2 bars of service (out of 4), so hopefully when go time comes I can do this! I've been counting to 10 in my head to see how fast I can go - I usually get to about 6 or 7 when I get the "Not So Fast" screen, idk what boarding group that would be. But I'm feeling good!

It really seems having BG 1 is your best bet. If anyone would like some luck with that, feel free to PM me.

Is the app up to date on the other phones? Both my kids and my mom are able to log into my MDE and we all have tried at the same time to get a BG without an issue

Worked for me. I was walking around celebrating in front of the tower of terror. Apparently I thought getting in was enough. When I calmed down I checked my boarding group. It was 1. Then it was called. Afraid it might be shut down we were off to the races.

It's a tough call. If you decide to do it and want the help, let me know and I'll do my best. Getting BG 1 would help your odds of it being a more seamless experience, I think, but I know it's hard that you can't then go to another park afterwards.

Rain doesn't effect it but it goes down A LOT so your day might be frustrating. It's supposed to be the best ride at Disney though.

It was worth it. Second time through I heard my daughter laughed. Not going to spoil anything.

Some people might not know that you can check the bg numbers through out the day on the app, here's how:
Click on check status

Then click the plus sign

Has anyone had success doing that? It seems like an easy way to game the system...just get a BG for yourself then go to a CM and claim that the other group members weren't appearing in the app?
