Holy cow. Practiced at home. I guess refreshing is the way to go! Checked the time and they closed at around 19 seconds in until 10AM was full. Insane!

Note: I had about 3 bars LTE Verizon. Still showed up right away and I was at "Not so fast!" at about 5 seconds in.

Got BG1 again! That's for all the people (IRL, not here) who said I got lucky or suggested that I couldn't do it with a group. We even got to ride twice because there were slight technical difficulties!

It is accurate. I checked against the code dump from MDE and it matches exactly.

Not surprised at all that they've changed the BG times. We missed the 10am one once (*shakes fist at Skyliner*) and got BG 50 at the 1pm drop. We were literally the second to last people on it that night. I still can't believe we actually made it.

OK all this talk of missing rope drop because of the Skyliner has me convinced we're taking an Uber. Staying at Pop. What time do we need to be planning on Ubering to make it without stress? We have 2 days at HS so I'm not terribly nervous (a Sat & a Wed), and I've been able to get a BG while practicing from home 3 days in a row. But, SWGE is our main reason for scheduling this trip so I do NOT want to miss it because of getting stuck somewhere.

And also, dumb question, but last time we Ubered to AK the guy tried to drop us off at a CM entrance (after telling us he had been driving the area for years...yeah right...). Is there something special I need to do in the Uber app to make sure we get to the right place for the entrance?

Holy cow, just tried to join the 4pm and between the time I hit Join and formed a party it was allocated. I know for 4pm there are fewer slots but we're talking all of 5 seconds. Wild.

I was trying at home and the join button didn't become active for me until 20 seconds after. I was able to get through it quickly, but it then was unavailable right after that. I was doing the pull down to refresh method today. Haven't used that very often, so may go back to starting fresh just before the top of the hour.

Yeah, doesn't sounds like too many that do get a 4pm slot are actually able to ride, though we haven't had a whole lot of reports one way or the other.

If you are staying at Pop, getting to DHS via car/uber/lyft is very easy. When you exit the Pop Century security gate and get to the light at Victory Way, you turn left. You go through the next light for Art of Animation entrance. Then you take your first right to DHS. That will take you to the DHS Toll Plaza and to the drop off location for uber/lyft.

The "join" button was definitely delayed for me as well at home. It was only about 8-10 seconds though, before it finally showed via refresh. I got a slot, backed out, and tried again, and it was locked.

That is not the fastest way in my view. You should try going to the "more" screen, click on the 3 horizontal lines at the bottom of the app on the right side. Select "Virtual Queues" and just watch your time on your smartphone for 10 AM.

Now click the "Join Virtual Queue" as soon as the time updates on your phone. If you are to quick or it is not ready then just click the "My Queues" link if you are right handed or the blue < arrow if you are left handed.

the parking lot is opening around 9:15 so I would leave around 9:10
