Seems to be yet another really good day. A little bit of down time??? Stuck at BG 102 for a little bit, I think.

The last two days it looks like there were only 101 total groups and BG 102 would be number 101 today. I wonder if they are limiting the total number of BGs given out to that number now? If so, it is awfully early to no longer be letting guests on the ride. Not sure why they wouldn't give out even more backup BGs to give as many people the chance to ride as possible in case the ride performs well like it has the last few days.

The typical guess is 100-150, but really, no one knows, so it's hard to say for sure.

You know, I noticed that also, but I figured it was too early to call it a trend. But, that's ok. Honestly, if somehow it helps control ride reliability, then I'm ok with it. With all of this, there is trial and error, eliminate variables, spot trends, and go from there.

We have one day at Hs on Saturday, 6/27/20. Touring plans says it’s a 6/10. Should I be worried that we won’t get a boarding pass , even if I’m the park exactly when I should be? (There will be 5 of us).

And now they are boarding dashes. So, either it's down or they are done for the day. Also, perhaps early shut down leads to better mornings? But I will continue with the set number of total BG theory. @yulilin3 since you are headed that way this evening, would you have any potential insight?

I wouldn’t be “worried” as much as realistic that it’s possible you won’t get a BP. Hope springs eternal and all that, but it’s not guaranteed by any means.

My advice: no. Don't be worried. First, manage your expectations. You might NOT ride for one reason or another.
Second, if your trip is in late June, the BG system, data, timing, park hours, etc may all be very different in some unknown way from right now. With this ride situation, it is day to day, week to week. You have 4 months. I get it WDW demands long-term planning. This ride, though, for now is a different animal.

I will go check it out. I think the ride is down as they were loading 20 bg when i checked 5 minutes ago

Ok. So, never mind the theory. Just the first real down time if the day? Which honestly is still very good.

Or combine it with the theory? Run it for 101 groups, give it a rest and then ramp it up again? Just a thought.

All in all, though, VERY good signs this week post-holiday!

I figured it out. They had to shut it down a little while to send some CMs over to Epcot to help out at Journey into Imagination w/Figment. 65 minute wait time compared to 50 for Soarin'.

How fun would it be if anyone going to the parks gave us their username and password and we ALL tried getting a BG for whichever family was in the park for that day. I feel like we would all have our competitive spirit and try and be the one to get the boarding group, and we'd probably get a very low group as well!!

I would definitely need the help, going solo and have only one chance at making it happen seeing it’s my only free morning March 24th before my conferences start!

I feel a sense of camaraderie in this group and think joining forces would be fun!
