If you're going after March 4th I'd honestly just check back for more relevant info then. Who knows what things will look like then.Need a bit more help cause I am still confused on something. I have read many posts here and many out side articles on boarding groups.
I know you use the MDE app on your phone and I know you must be physically through the turnstiles with your whole group having scanned in for admission.
I don't understand what it means when I keep seeing the words that a person must be "logged into the system" to join a boarding group. Is there something extra that has to be done? Do you need to be on their WiFi to be considered in the correct area? Trying to figure out if I am missing something.
Lastly after seeing the CHART on the opening posts of this thread it is both helpful and freaking terrifying! The last couple days recorded have run out of boarding groups after just 1 minute. Is there a secret to using the app super fast when they open boarding groups? I know if I am not there early for RD and boarding groups that is on me, but I am most concerned I will do all that and still not act fast enough for a boarding group. (I also go to HS after MMRR opens on 3/4 so who know what will change then anyways.) Advice is appreciated.
- Will the ride be operating more reliably?
- Will they be handing out more regular BGs?
- Will they abandon the distinction between regular and backup?
- Will they open the park at 7? at 8? at 9?
- How will they handle MMRR?
I honestly think the chart and the current DPs are really only applicable to people planning to attend between now and the end of February. And this week's info is probably only important to people attending on President's Day week. For people attending any other time I'd pay more attention to the week prior and next week and beyond then.
March is a long way away in terms of this ride and how DHS will continue to handle it's procedures.
