The Mickey-shaped bread bowl is a new thing, right? Haven't they previously been the standard Boudin round bowls?

I think I've read in the past that you can get the bread bowl to go and just eat the soup from a regular bowl, do you know if that's correct? I'd be taking that Mickey bread bowl my hotel for breakfast the next morning!

I've never asked nor have I seen anyone eating soup or chili out of a regular bowl. That's not to say that it isn't possible. I just haven't seen it.

I have done it though not recently. If you ask before they serve it, they will put the soup in a cup for you and bag the bread.

My husband and I ask for the soup in a cup. Then they will give you butter for the bread if you want. We then take it to a table and share, breaking off chunks of bread with butter and dipping in the soup. At the same time we are just relaxing and people watching. One of our favorite things!!!

Earl of Sandwich Tavern

Mac and cheese burger, very good. French fries were very bland, even after adding a lot of salt. Since the burger was so flavorful, it may have detracted flavor from the fries.

Prime rib (husband said very good, but chewy), we both thought the mashed potatoes tasted like store bought powdered potatoes. He swapped green beans for cole slaw.

Hibiscus Margarita. It was good, refreshing and not overly sweet, but it did have the artificial taste to a degree.

It was delicious and I got bacon as an extra side.

The bulgogi beef sandwich and corn soup from jolly holiday. We all got this in my group. I enjoyed it but my friend said his beef was tough. I thought it was good but the soup left a little to be desired. I probably would’ve been happier with my normal grilled cheese but it was fun to try.

I also had the hibiscus pomegranate cooler from rancho. This was a bit better when stirred but still very honey heavy for me. My friend enjoyed his though.

Two of us got the citrus churro since the strawbatty is a smaller portion and we both enjoyed it. Not my fave but it was a good snack.

How were the Baked Nachos and the Pandan Cooler? Do the chips hold up and stay crispy or did they get soggy? They look fantastic.

Tried two seasonal specialty churros recently and loved the both! First, the Celestial Chocolate Churro from Terran Treats, which is a Dubai-chocolate inspired churro with pistachio cream, chocolate sauce, crispy phyllo dough crumbles and crushed pistachio. Strong pistachio flavor and lots of different textures. I loved it! Large portion, big enough to share.



I also had the Fluffernutter Churro from the churro cart near the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, which has peanut butter sauce, marshmallow sauce and chocolate chips. This was insane, sooooo good! The churro is hot so the chocolate chops melt and you have a crunchy hot churro with this gooey peanut butter/marshmallow/chocolate concoction that you can keep dipping your churro into. Also large, big enough to share.

I'm so happy it's called a fluffernutter, because I used to eat fluffernutter sandwiches as a kid but when I bring them up nobody knows what the heck I'm talking about. Looks like somebody at Disney knows what they are!

Was it good? Sometimes the fancy churros look too sweet.

I had those baked nachos in July. They were crispy through and through! Super delicious, I ate about 1/4 of it, HUGE!
