Nothing quite like writing a TR about 6 months after the fact! We had a difficult fall and I know you and many others can relate. Nathaniel was in the hospital, the dog was diagnosed with cancer, our boiler broke, etc. I'm finally feeling up to writing again!!!
I have to say that I'm super excited for YOUR trip! I know how hard you've worked for this and how very special it is for you and your family. I'm cheering for you and hoping that everything is just magical.

Friday, February 3rd-Last Park Day! MK

Our last day! Boo.
So, I have us sleeping in a bit this day and then we will be having breakfast at Ohana at 10am! Leslee loves Stitch, Savannah does as well, so this will be a fun last character meal!

We'll head over to MK after that and I really have no plan at all!

I think this is partially b/c it's our 2nd day, but also b/c of all of the rehabs? I honestly am not sure what we will do, but I'm SURE there will be something we missed or want to repeat for our last day. Maybe we can do the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom? I'm unsure if it will be too "young" for the kids, but they will have done KP and maybe would enjoy this. Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom

Since we are having a big late breakfast (10am is nearly lunch for this early riser!) we will probably just use a snack credit in the afternoon b/c I have an ADR at The Wave for dinner at 5pm! I'm hoping this gives us plenty of time to get back to MK at 8pm for Wishes! I can't think of anything better for our last night.

This isn't actually Wishes, it's Hallowishes, so I'm looking forward to getting some photos of Wishes since I don't have any!

The next morning we will have a CS left, I believe, and we are hoping to eat, load up on snacks, and head out. I don't have a specific time but hoping we are headed no our way by 10am. It's going to be a LONG ride home, but we'll arrive in the middle of the night and surely crawl into our beds after greeting our furry kids!

This morning I'm heading out to take the Durango to get fixed...collective good thoughts and hopes that it will be cheap would be good!

Your trip sounds so relaxing and fantastic. Maybe Rey is onto something with the whole leisurely thing... well, except for RD. And getting FPes. And touring plans to avoid lines.

SotMK reminds of MagiQuest which we've done twice- once in Gatlinburg, TN and just recently when we went to KC. My kids LOVE it and I think Leslee and Savannah will enjoy it as well.

I hope all goes well with the Durango this morning! I'm going into work for a bit to catch up on some paperwork since the office is closed for MLK Day. I get so much more accomplished in a quiet office. Anyway, I won't be online but I'll have my phone so be sure to let me know what you find out! Sending you some more

Well, it was the spark plugs AND the water pump. I had a little cry, thought about canceling the trip and throwing away all that money we had into it but then called my mom and she put what I couldn't cover on her credit card. I guess I should have a cc in the future I can use, but I don't right now. Anyway, trip is still on, but I'm feeling icky about it right now, I'm kind of just wishing it would be over so we can move on.

I know it's hard to understand, but we almost lost everything in 2010 and this trip was a symbol of getting it back. We HAVE, but the trip is really pushing our limits of extra money, especially with all the car repairs, Christmas, and extra life stuff that has come up. I'm just looking forward to not having to WORRY about it anymore after the trip is over and I'm not sure that's the best way to go into a vacation. I still want to go and we will b/c honestly, I don't think the kids could deal with another postponement. They are already not very excited about the trip and I think that's b/c there's been so many things making us unsure about it. We'll go and have fun, but I am going to try and leave any souvenir money set aside for any other emergencies that happen and I know that it will be lurking there. I really look forward to someday not having that feeling, but I'm rambling now! I'm sure we will enjoy the trip, we'll be eating like kings with free dining and I plan on making the most of that!

So onward and upward! 11 days!

Thanks Michelle! I think it will be fine once I get there, I just need to snap out of it now b/c my family doesn't like that I'm bummed about the trip...they are used to me being the cheerleader!

We're going to Disney, our park tickets and food are paid for, what else do we need? It's going to be great, I know it!

Thanks Amanda, I think so too. I just took the car up to the self-carwash and washed it and vacuumed it out. Baby steps and before I know it, we will be there!

10 DAYS!!!!!!!

I'm getting so freakin excited! Savannah is sick, I'm hoping we don't all get it, but if we do, we have 10 days to get over it. Today and tomorrow are super quiet days, I have no petsitting and nowhere to go, so I will be cleaning and doing laundry. Good times!

Friday I'm getting a little extra Disney cash b/c I have a maternity photoshoot! They are really one of my favorite shoots, so I'm looking forward to it! Here's one of my favorite shots I took last year:

Anyway, today I'm feeling really positive and looking forward to the trip! I'm also excited to see some people getting ready to leave and some people I've been following actually BACK and starting TR's! SO cool to read!

The weather looks AMAZING for the next 10 days, I hope it stays just like it is! Mid 70s sounds PERFECT!

Oh man, I'm seriously manic and on a little rollercoaster daily about this trip, but today is an UP day!

AND, we are 8 days out!!!!!! I can look at the 10 day forecast now! They are showing Saturday (our arrival day) as SUNNY and 76 degrees!!!!!
