re room upgrade

first post so hope i am doing it right

we are travelling in Aug for 2 weeks from cold ireland to sunny florida and for the first time staying in a disney hotel CBR(normally a villa but really want to experience the magic this time round!)
it is a package holiday through a travel agent so i recon the room is standard only
how can i go about up grading it directly

If you just want to upgrade the room, call your travel agaent and tell him and tell them to also watch for a code. If you can get a discount for your room, then you can take that extra money and upgrade to a better room.

Just noticed your post...make sure you inquire about the "Free Dining" out possibly in August. Not sure of the dates , but check with WDW or your own travel agent. Last summer and in 2005 ,the Free Dining came out towards the last week or two in August.
