hi can anyone tell me about the quality inn,the pics look good but a bit of first hand information is good, arrive there in a few days cheers

Hi Brent 44

Which Quality Inn are you Talking about as there are quite a few around the Orlando area.

If its the Plaza or International on I-Drive, both Hotels offer great Value for Money and are ideally situated for Attractions and restaurants.

They both come with mod cons like TV, Fridge (in most rooms) coffee maker, bathroom, shower, Wc and are always clean and tidy when i've visted.

Hope that helps a little (and if you now which QI, i'm sure people will be able to help you more)

Hi!

We've booked the Quality Inn International on I-Drive for our first trip in October, basically because it seemed really good value for money, and also it is one of Virgin's "Flagship" hotels.

Ive read positive and negative comments about this hotel though on these boards.

I have to say that we will be spending minimal time in our hotel room, so if it is of a basic standard that wouldnt worry us at all.

We just need somewhere to sleep after being out all day!!

Have a brill time! Wish I was leaving in 9 days!!!

Hi,

We like lorraine (hi lorraine) are also staying at the QII and are of the same opinion, as long as its clean and safe we are happy, and as most american hotels are this it should be fine.

It is in a great location for all the parks including universal and has some transport to some of the parks if you do not want to drive.

The hotel should also be easy to find on i-drive on your first day.

hope this helps.

Chris

We stayed at the QII in 2001 and it was very clean. The Hotel is in the middle of Int. Drive and very close to restaurants and most things. The pools were great:)

We stayed here in April this year.
We were in the block that overlooked the car park, which seemed noisy when we first got there but didn't really notice it after. If you can I'd ask for a pool view, we tried but it was chocka at Easter so we couldn't swap.
The rooms are basic but clean, a fridge, coffee maker, hairdryer and microwave included. Clean towels every day if you wish.
Towels are provided for pool use. There are drinks and ice machines dotted around the complex. Food in the restaurant was just OK, best to eat out in our opinion, so much to choose from nearby, even a McD's next door.
The shop had basics, can be pricey, but there's plenty of supermarkets (Walgreens is by the Golden Corral restaurant)
The I-ride stops just outside.

Hope this helps, feel free to ask anything else.

My wife and I have stayerd at "The Low Q" 3 times (last time Sept 03) and found it to be a good base of operations. Its started to show its age a bit but if you want a central hotel for I-Drive its fine. The in room fridges are a great bonus !

Enjoy.

Colin

Hubby and I stayed at the QII back in March 03 and we loved it. The pools are fab, room was basic but great with fridge, microwave etc. We're staying there again in October 05! It's a short walk from the restaurants like Chilis and if you go out the back car park entrance onto I-Drive, there is a pub directly opposite. We drank here every night in 03 and the rounds were so cheap when compared to the bar at the QII. Well worth a visit - they have pool tables and a jukebox too. You'll have a great time I'm sure.
