For those who have already stayed at the BCV - how long a walk is it to the Swan and Dolphin? We are considering eating and/or mini-golf over there and was wondering if it was walking distance.

i know you can take a boat ride to the swan/dolphin from the bc , im not sure about walking.:)

we did not wait very long, maybe 20 min. they have two boats, one that just goes to boardwalk/epcot and the other the swan/dolphin. and the captain will tell you when your last depart from the swan, usually an hour after the parks close.

if your a dvc member don't forget to use your dvc card to get a discount on the mini golf.

It's a ten minute walk from the lobby of the BC to the Fantasia gardens mini golf, about five minutes of that is to the Swan.

By the time you waited for the boat you'd be there!

Hi,
I walked back from Fantasia mini-golf (I think that's the one) when we stayed at the BCV in June. It wasn't bad at all, maybe 10-15min. In fact it would have been bordering on enjoyable, but I was carrying a very hot and tired three year old at the time.
As far as the boats, I'm not sure how often they run, but I think they are running the route from the the Boardwalk area resorts to MGM so I'm guessing twice an hour?

One more follow-up question, is the Dolphin just as close a walk as the Swan?

The Swan and Dolphin face each other and are about 100 yards apart.

The Y&BC, BW, Swan and Dolphin make up the Epcot resort community and are very close to each other.

For our family, the walk to any of the Epcot resorts was not even a discussion. Maybe if you have younger ones in tow, it might be another consideration. Now, for those who say they walk to the Studios, I'd have to be promised some real incentive to consider doing that!
