This is what mine looks like. I have it attached to my bagallini.

I did have a nice young lady notice it when I was there in early June. I don't remember her name, but at least someone from the boards recognized it!

Thanks for posting a picture, Deb! This looks way cool--may I ask how you put your name on it? I notice the lettering looks just like the authentic DL font!

I downloaded the Disney font off the internet and printed my name on clear mailing lables (I had to experiment with the font size until it fit right) and attached the label to the LGMHPC, then laminated it using a luggage tag size laminating pouch.

I had a great idea the other day. DD and I were doing shrinky dinks and we did some using the green Mickey head. We punched little holes in his ear and now we have zipper pulls, earrings, charms, keychains, you name it. :)

If the dog would just sit stll he would get one on his collar too!

Thanks to a good friend and fellow diser who explained the lime green thing to me today (I've been hanging mostly on the scrapbook and swap boards since my trip isn't till November!). Now I'm following and intrigued....

so where do you get shrinky dink stuff that you can cut out yourself? Sounds like fun!

We got our shrinky dink kit at Michael's Craft Store. My daughter always heads straight to the kids craft aisle and then begs for something that has a million little beads. When I saw this kit I thought it looked relatively easy, then the Mickey Head thing hit me and I became obsessed. Of course it shrinks quite a bit if you trace the paint chip, so I plan on playing around with the size. My daughter has no idea we are going to WDW so she just thinks I'm nuts. I guess to the casual observer it does seem crazy to become so attached to a HD paint sample:goodvibes

Anybody have ideas on how to make strong magnets with them? I thought it would be neat for my car...

Thank you, thank you!:thanks:

One more question, and then I'm good: Where do you find the clear mailing labels, and the luggage tag size laminating pouches?

(okay, so that was two:goodvibes ):flower3:

I got the mailing labels and the laminating pouches at Staples. The labels are the Avery brand. Any office supply store should have them tho. Although, I have a laminator at work (which helped!)

Thanks!

Er...do they do laminating at Staples, do you happen to know?

(I don't have access to a laminator...)

For small things like the LGMH I buy the shelf liner paper at the dollar store-get a clear one (some have a texture so check). Also called Mac-Tac

I find it cheaper to use than going and getting things laminated. Very handy for me as I have a daycare and use it all the time!

Oh, yeah! I forgot about that stuff! Thanks, Squirrel! :thumbsup2

Thanks, D-Deb, for "spoonfeeding"(LOL) me all of the steps to creating an awesome, weather-proof LGMH!!

Be sure to post a picture of your LGMH!
I'm going to HD today to get one.
I'll post mine too if I ever get it finished, I might do the laminating later on.

I will, JM! I can't wait to see yours, too!

In fact, I'm going right now to Staples and the Dollar Store to get all of my supplies. Race ya!!:hyper:

Yay!:yay: I posted a picture!

Now, how do I reduce the blasted thing to a manageable size?:confused3

I keep going to PhotoBucket and resizing it, and then recopying it and repasting it here, but the stupid thing stays gigantic!!

There! That's better!!:goodvibes

Oh! I just made two because I couldn't make up my mind as to which one I liked better!
