re-Hitching

Last week, Disney reservations told us they had discontinued the re-hitching. The girl on the line even went off for several minutes to talk to Garden Grill on the phone. However, while we were at Garden Grill for the Ice Cream Social (Oct 11) I asked the CM at the desk. She said they did still do this and we were re-hitched, certificate and all. So, ask at the Garden Grill desk and don't take the reservations line word for it.

I heard from another person who on a different board who tried to have a re-hitching when he was there and was told that they no longer do it. I think he said something along the lines of that some people considered it a mockery to the sanctity of marriage. Why must people get their panties all up in a bunch over the silliest things!?!?!

I suspect you would see many fewer couples in general with those restrictions, straight and gay.... If people want to look for the "downfall of traditional marriage" and such, I suggest they look at their own relationships and the heterosexual marriage divorce rate before casting stones.

Figures. I just planned a list of things to do for hubby and my ten year anniversary in February and this was the first thing! My PS window was gonna open up in a couple weeks.

How extremely disappointing - I too was hoping to do this with my husband . I sure hope the reason/s for discontinuing aren't the ones mentioned on this board, because that's even more disappointing.
