Are they still doing the re-hitching ceremony at the garden grill?

I think it would be cute to do with my DH on his first trip!!!!

It is no longer being done. There were couples of the same sex wanting the ceremony and Disney executives decided to do away with it.

It was a cute ceremony at the Garden Grill in The Land pavilion in Epcot. A CM would have the couple stand up and perform the "Re-Hitch" with a couple of the characters as witnesses. At the conclusion of the ceremony the CM would ask the couple to kiss and have all the other guests count 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,20,30,40,60,70,80,90,100 and the couple was to continue kissing until the counting was over. I surprised my DW with this for our 29th anniversary in May 2003.

What a shame, My dh and I did this a couple of years ago for our 10th and it was fun, even though my DS got embarrased.

We did this for our Ann. in 2004. Had kids and grand kids there. We have a marriage licence signed by Mickey and minnie.
