?? re GF and Monorail

Is the GF a monorial resort? And, can we just ride the monorail just to ride it (and get back off where we got on?) I'm sure my kids would love a monorail ride on a non-park day!

Yes it is. You can ride to your hearts content! I've never asked, but you can sit in the front w/ the driver is noone else is there.

Great! We arrive on Sunday morning and have PS at 1900 Park Fare. I figured we can do our breakfast, ride the monorail, check out the GF, and by then maybe our BCV room will be ready.

How long is a complete trip on the monorail? I assume, though, we could get off and on, also and check out the other resorts, right?

The resort loop isn't long at all, maybe 15-20 minutes. It only makes 4 stops, MK, GR, Poly., & CR. If you have time to "kill" you could get off at MK & take the boat to TTC & back again. The monorail stop is outside the MK, so you don't need your ticket to get on/off. My 2.5 yr dd loved the boat ride back/forth from MK to TTC.

How far away is the boat from the monorail drop off? I bet my boys would like a boat ride, also!

Not far at all! They'll love it! It sort of a big ole paddle boat. Unless you have an infant, I probably wouldn't even bother with a stroller.

If you get off the monorail at MK, you can take the paddle wheel boat to TTC. Another boat goes to GF and Poly and then another boat goes to WL and FW. If you go to FW they have a petting zoo, which your children might like and the WL is really neat to see.

The resort monorail also stops at TTC and you can catch the EPCOT monorail at the TTC.

We enjoy the boat rides and use them when we can.
