Hi I was looking for an old thread regarding the CBR. I stayed there 2 yrs ago, but only for 2 days. I wanted to know what is the best to try to get to near everything. Thanks for your help.

we were in building 25 and it was awesome!! the other
closet bldg was 26. Ask for one of these and you cant go wrong!
see post below for more information, I forgot they had
different names for the sections!

THANKS KEVIND65

the above poster is referreing to buildings #25 and #26 which are part of the island of Martinique...these are closest to the Old Port Royale, marina and main themed pool area...This is our personnal favorite at CBR...these are in the preferred areas and will cost a little more per night than other areas of the resort...Also, Trinidad North is a preferred area and perported to be a great area as well...

The link for the CBR FAQ is listed below.

Since Trinidad North and Martinique are now preferred locations many people like Jamaica or Aruba. They are a short walk over the bridge away from Old Port Royale.

We've stayed at Caribbean Beach Resort twice and stayed in Martinique, building #25, both times. This is an excellent location; close to a bus stop, quiet pool, food court, main pool, sit down restaurant, marina etc. In my personal opinion, it is worth the extra fee for this "preferred" location. However, if you aren't inclined to pay extra, then I'd recommend Jamaica, which is directly across the lake from the main pool/food court/sit down restaurant and marina, with an island and foot bridges connecting them.

CBR is a beautiful resort, enjoy your stay there!! :sunny:

P.S. I have some pictures and info on my web site, the link is below. Enjoy!

We were just there in Dec. and we stayed in Martinique bldg. 22 it was just a short walk to the food court and it was a very quiet bldg. we requested a 2nd floor room on the corner it is a good thing to do for less foot traffic...Enjoy your trip::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo
