? re: Cat 11 'queen or twin' beds

You know how the description says stateroom has a queen or two twin beds? Well, the picture only shows the queen with a dotted line that looks like it converts to two twins. Did I need to request a queen or do they just pull apart if you're mad at your husband?

I'm pretty sure the queen arrangement is standard, especially if the room is occupied by a married couple. I think you'd need to make a request only if you'd prefer the two twins.

Queen is standard, pre request or ask your stateroom host to convert to twins if needed.

From my understanding, the queen beds (all of them) convert into two twin beds if needed. So once you arrive to your room you can ask your attendent to convert them to twin in needed. You may even be able to call ahead to have the room ready when you arrive. That is if the twin is what your looking for.

We had 2 adults and 2 kids (all females) in our room and we this time they had the beds pushed together, last time it was 2 adults and one child and the beds were apart...since i sleep with my 4 year old I just asked them to push them together the first time. I did find that it was very uncomfortable with them pushed together because there is always that lump in the center of the bed where they meet. My daughter kept telling me to sleep on the lump so she didn't keep rolling over on it!

Mom and Aunt stayed in a Cat 11 on the 5/1 Magic. They asked the stateroom host to split the beds and they were split and turned down by bedtime. You may also want to think about asking for extra blankets since they didn't have twin bedspreads until I think the third night. Depends on how much cover you prefer. They have extra pillows available also. Mom and Aunt sleep with 3 pillows each.
