?? re: Boat between DTD and POR

Hi Everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this question, but here goes...can we ride on the boat that runs between Downtown Disney and POR if we are staying offsite? We will have park hopper passes (which supposedly entitles us to use of the transportation system within WDW) but we want to resort hop on a day that we would not otherwise be in the parks (or using a day on our passes). Do they ask for resort ID on either end? We would love to see as many resorts as we can during our visit to help us decide where to stay onsite in the future! Thanks for your help!

We rode to DTD from POR a few times and no one asked us for our resort id's.

Yes, no problem at all. You do not have to be staying at tht resort.

Just back. No ID were asked. The boat service between DDT and POR did not start until 4:30pm

Thanks for your replies! It's very helpful to know that the boat service doesn't begin until 4:30pm...in that case, we may not be able to do it this time due to our scheduled PS times.
