Can anyone here tell me what the differences in all the categories for RCL's ships are?? And is there one that you can recommend? :confused3

I know very little about them except that the Voyager class are the mega-ships: Voyager of the Seas; Mariner of the Seas; and I think adventurer and navigator are also voyager class. These ships are huge and carry something like 3000+ passengers. Extras include things like ice skating rinks. I think the Mariner has 15 decks.

The Radiance class ships are smaller: include the Radiance, Serendade, etc. These are more in line with the Magic/Wonder in size, although I felt as though the Radiance held more people--it was taller--no ice rink, but they do have a rock wall and a minature golf course.

I have not been on Disney yet so I cannot compare the two lines but I have been on 4 RCI ships (Majesty, Monarch, Splendour, and Voyager). So far the Voyager was the one that I liked the best. It has tons of stuff to do on it and the Royal Promenade is, I think, it's best feature. We have always had an oceanview room and the Voyager and Splendour were the best as far as the rooms. We have not taken our kids on the RCI ships yet (Disney in Sept. will be their first cruise) so I can't comment on the kids programs. The thing I enjoyed about the Splendour was it is more intimate and relaxing, IMO. I hope this helps. Other than that, Cruise Critic's RCI board can give you alot more info.
