My mother gave my family a week of her timeshare 6/24-7/1). I don't care for the place she chose (Florida Vacation Villas). Is there anyway I can change the resort. I don't want to seem ungrateful and I don't want her to know, but I don't think this place is for us. Any suggestions???

probably not if she has already booked it

if she cancels there will be the loss of exchange fees too if not mistaken

If there is another unit deposit on her account that has not been used yet that you could do another search with then you can find out if there are any other resorts available. Then if there is you can call RCI and request a change of resorts but you will have to pay another exchange fee and you will lose the first exchange fee.

Do you know how much the exchange fee is. Would they contact her??

If its any consolation there probably wont be much to choose from at this point for summer anyway...

do you have her account number?

if so you can look around on RCI.

if you don't have her account number - you can't do anything.

did you need a 2-bedroom? - there were very few 2-bedrooms - most were 1-bedroom - that might be why she got that one.
