RCI into DVC

Leleluvsdis, DVC charges $95 to inbound RCI exchange guests when booking DVC at WDW. This is above and beyond the fee you pay to RCI.

The following information is shown on one of my past RCI Exchange confirmations into BWV via RCI:

It sounds like their base exchange fee is $95 and not the standard RCI exchange fee a generic owner pays and she's just rolling them in together. If this is the case, that likely means their RCI membership is included as it is with several points minisystems. For the the rest, RCI charges members an exchange fee, normally $199 (a little less if done online) plus DVC charges an additional $95 fee that's paid to DVC at the resort upon checkin. This is for RCI weeks but for RCI points the fees are lower though around $139 for a weeks exchange to an RCI points resort.

Has anyone seen openings for DVC through RCI in December?

It is worth remembering that DVCMC's current policy appears to deposit only after the home resort window expires. This means that resorts/times that are difficult to book at the seven month window will also be difficult exchanges---and the first two weeks of December are possibly the most in-demand time, system-wide. If you are thinking of those two weeks, you will need to be extraordinarily flexible about resort choice and unit size, and even then I'd have a backup plan in place.
