Razors?

Is there a place onsite I can buy disposable razors? EVERYTIME I fly my bags seem to be the ones lost so we are only taking carryons and I am not bringing anything Airport screeners wouldn't approve of. I don't mind being searched but I would like to decrease the chance. I would absolutely die if some stranger went through my underwear!!!

I am 99% sure I saw them in the gift shop at AKL, so I would assume that all the hotels would have it. They carried all the essential toiletries that a person might forget, but really need.

You can take your razor in your carryon bag. I've flown a couple of times since September and I've never had a problem. I have had my bag searched each time I have flown, but the razor was never what triggered the search. I have, however, had my tweezers and my nail clippers confiscated on separate trips, so be sure that if you are bringing either of these items, they are not your favorite ones, because you might not ever see them again.

You should be able to get them at the giftshop in your resort, assuming you're staying on-site. I got some last time at CBR, and I think the sundries are the same at each resort.

They confiscated your tweezers? I don't know what you would do with those although i do consider thema medieval torture device. Thanks for the heads up. I guess by day 8 I'll have some bushy brows!

I was wondering about razors too!....Do they take them in the airports. They do take tweezers though? Geesh..I'm gonna have some huge brows when we get home! Lol....well...thanks about the information. Glad I won't have hairy legs...eew.

can you bring tweezers in your bags that you are NOT carrying on? Or you can't hae them no matter what? Just curious.

You can bring tweezers or nailfile etc as long as they are in checked luggage.

We have been searched 4 out of 4 times that we flew last month. They went through DH's dirty undies, not mine! I carried on a razor, tweezers and clippers and was not flagged. I put them in my makeup pouch in my purse. They pick for searches randomly.

Just a lil FYI...
My mom flew SW in March and her disposable razor confiscated from her carry-on. I would pack it checked (or if not checking anything just buy it when you get there)
