we're expanding our housing search and wondering if anybody has info on these towns. we're a young family looking for a safe, family friendly area with good schools.

Bridgewater is a pretty town. I grew up in Middleboro (the next town over). Do you have specific questions. I don't know if I can answer, but I can tell you I wouldn't mind living there.

Bridgewater/Raynham is a regional school district. The elementary schools are by town, but the Jr and Sr High Schools are a big regional HS. Right now the upper grades and schools are in complete dissarray. No money, no services, very few extras. They are on a plan to turn things around, and the elementary schools are fine.

West and East Bridgewater are their own separate towns and the schools are in much better shape right now. (I'm in EB).

Both towns (Raynham and Bridgewater) are lovely, and typically New England

Debster, Did you grow up in EB?
Oh Boy I love having dinner at Crispy's in Bridgewater center
