Rates HIGH for next summer?!

We skipped this summer at the World for the first time in many years bc of our cruise. I just started checking bc I want to book us early for a trip right after DS high school graduation. The resort rates seemed really high to me.

FW Cabins $363
and Contemporary isn't even on there...?
We almost always stay Deluxe and for comparison, it seems like we usually pay about $350- $400 for Beach, Boardwalk and $450-500 for CR and we always go in summer.

I thought attendance was DOWN? not to mention the traumatic events...?

Is this these way rates are going to be this year or is there just no benefit to booking early anymore? Will rates go down as we get closer, instead of up? I thought I was used to Disney prices, but I got sticker shock. I really lost my appetite for booking a trip.

They seem high to me too. I have been checking them for maybe July or August. I think they have gone up.

Right, the rates on Mousesavers include tax. So I'm not sure why the rates in the first post are higher unless they are not standard views.

There has really been no benefit to booking early as far as I know. I mean, once rates are out, they are out. They don't go up at all. However, there are typically discounts that can be applied, so you are probably thinking of the discount rate that you ended up applying to your rate.

I noticed this too! Cash rate for BCV for July is $1092/night!!! We paid $770/night this year.

Some of the rates you're quoting (AKL and BWI are the two I looked at most closely), are for preferred views, and those always cost a premium. Their standard view rooms are in line with non-discounted prices for those resorts I've seen in prior years. There has been no big increase that I can see.
