The coupon states that it is valis for pickup on certain days only (Sun, Mon Tues). I am picking up on a Saturday for 9 days. The website accepted my coupon. However, I did not want to be bumped at the counter because the coupon states "valid for pickup sun, mon, tues only." So I called central reservations (# can be found on the alamo site), and was informed that the '04 entertainment coupon was limited to sun, mon, tues pickup, however that has changed for the '05 entertainment coupon. The reservationist looked at my reservation and indicated that I was using the '05 codes / coupon.

I expressed my concern over the rate changing at the counter - since the coupon reads "valid for pickup s,m,t only," and she noted our converation on the reservation and assured me that the rate would be as I was quoted. I am quite satisfied with the rate and the service thus far. $194 including all taxes and fees for an SUV for 9 days!

the 25 off is for a certain type of vehicle a minivan, convertable or suv only
i just called alamo and was told those dates are valid for 2005 m-t or sun only i would get a manager there and make sure first

I was pleasantly surprised when I paid only $193.99 total including all fees and taxes for the entire 9 day rental period. No bump was even attempted. They didn't even look at the coupon (it was attached to the reservations page I had printed).
The not so pleasant surprise was that they were out of SUV's when that was what I specifically reserved.
It was 10:30 PM and the lady at the counter said I just missed a huge line just before I arrived. Took all of 5 mins to do paperwork.
They offered my choice of anything that they had; 15 passenger full size van, 8 passenger Chev Astro, or a SDV. I took the Deville. We fit 7 pieces of luggage in the huge trunk. That left a duffle bag in the passenger compartment. So it all worked out. Very cheesy car for a Caddy though I must say.....
