Rate your stay at Vero....

Would love to hear from anyone who has stayed at Vero....rate your stay and say why!

We had a wonderful time, and have 2 shorter trips scheduled for this summer. My pet peeve is the towel on chair situation, I think it was even worse than was described on these boards. IMHO we could use a "towel patrol person."

"A" vote overall for us. Details follow: The CMs were A+. The resort a solid "A". The policies a "B" (cost of beach chairs and umbrellas and no discount for members or weekly rental discounts); underdeveloped lake side a "C".

The beach chairs, umbrellas cabanas and even boogie boards were all discounted for members when we were there at the end of April. There was a sign posted at the beach entrance by the rental guy. We will be going back at the end of June, so I will check again then.

Your descrip on a standard "A" score seemed a bit underrated...while I wouldn't give VB an "A+" it probably deserves something just above an "A" but just below being faultless according to the choices given

I voted D I have not personally been but this is from my in laws they thought they would like it heck they live near a beach up here. They stayed for 2 days of the 5 booked the rest they moved to BWV and will not return to VB.

This is one of our home resorts. We just love going there after a vist to WDW and recoop form our "vacation" there. Nice, quite and I love waking up and hearing the ocean waves crashing on the beach in the morning.

My family and i just returned from our first visit to Vero on last night. We had a terrific, relaxing time. The only black mark, and the reason I couldn't vote as an A +, is while we were sitting at the pool, a woman came over, introduced herself as an Avon lady and proceeded to try to sell us products. Is she kidding?! I should have notified a CM, but I was in the middle of feeding my children lunch.

Boy, I hope she got kicked out.

Bearing in mind my DH and I are from the UK our vacation is made up of one 2-week break in the U.S per year.

Our first visit to Vero was outstanding, the novelty factor I suppose, but we visited Vero Beach again last year and the novelty had worn off.

The vacation consisted of 4 nights at BWV followed by 8 nights at Vero and another 4 nights at OKW. My DH and I have concluded that we would have enjoyed it far more if we had had 12 nights at OKW which is our favourite resort.

When I vacation at the beach I want the option of quiet pools, no piped music and space between the chairs.

I must add, though, this is my preference only and an explanation of why I voted a B only.
