Would love to hear from anyone who has stayed at Royal Pacific. How do you rate it and why?!

We stayed in a pool room on one of the top floors last May for 4 nights. We all wished we had more time to stay. The resort definitely exceeded my expectations for the price, which I think was about $180. The pool is great and Islands Dinning Room's breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever had. This resort would definitely get an A+ if:

1) The pool had a slide. The boat/waterfalls/water gun area is cool, but they could also fit in a slide.

2) One more restaurant. Jake's is great, but after that there are not many options if you are not into the Pacific Island themed menu.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Great accomodations, great food, great prices. Not one single complaint.

I loved the atmosphere of this resort. The pool area and bar/food is terrific! The restaurant choices are excellent and we have enjoyed a meal in each more than a few times. My only minor complaint is with room size. Many have no problem but I like a bit more space. We are a family of 4 and like to spread out.

We have experienced the most AMAZING customer service at this property. Above and beyond and always with a smile. :goodvibes

LOVED IT...LOVED IT...LOVED IT! the kids and i went last year and loved everything about it. i worried about there being no food court or slide at the pool but we quickly realized that we didn't miss either. there were so many food options at citywalk and the parks where we were most of the time anyway. the kids loved the pool. they loved the volleyball net and water ship, i loved that i could easily keep an eye on them and that there were places in the pool where i could relax away from them. a favorite of ours was the smoothies by the pool which we got on our late night swims.

as for the hotel, is was more beautiful than i had imagined. we were upgraded for free to a waterview and we were smack dab in the middle of the hulk coaster. it was so great sitting in front of that picture window stairing at the hulk while we had breakfast.

TRUST ME, GO THERE ...GO THERE... YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

I'd definitely rate my stay an A+++. We love this resort and have stayed here every summer since they opened. This year I will paying almost twice the price as in years past but it's still so worth the $$.

The are so many reasons why I love this resort including, the beautiful tropical atmosphere, gorgeous pool, nice rooms with (some) great views, waterfall entrance, awesome lobby, breakfast in the orchid lounge/islands restaurant, enjoyable walk to the parks..and on and on. If you're thinking of staying here, I don't think you'll regret it one bit.

My DH and I stayed at RPR for our honeymoon last Oct. and we had a wonderful time. I had no problems with the service there. We arrived at 9:30 am and was surprised that our room was ready. (although I know if it was during the summer months there would prob. have been a wait). The breakfast buffet we had was pretty good and I liked the rooms (especially that make-up mirror :teeth:) and I did miss having a soda machine ;)
The only thing I would do differently next time is request a room in Tower 1 or Tower 3. I hated walking from the boat to Tower 2 every night. I would love to go back to RPR for this trip but DH wants to try HRH this time.
