I DID IT!!!!!! I actually whipped out my camera at a restaurant and took a picture of my food! My husband was so embarrassed, I thought he was going to crawl under the table. :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

So, here it is. I'll take guesses on what restaurant it is, but the color scheme probably makes it obvious.

I have the house salad, dressing on the side, a cup of clam chowder with crackers, a basket of breadsticks, and a regular Pepsi.

Please note the following: Those are not my french fries, and my husband ate a few of the breadsticks, (I had to wait for my clam chowder before I could take a picture of the complete meal). However, the funniest moment came when the waiter brought our drinks and gave us- colorful BENDY STRAWS!!!!!!! :lmao:

The food was tasty, the service was good, and because of the bendy straw, the restaurant gets a 10. :teeth:

You've made us proud :woohoo: . I'm giving you a 10 for sheer effort and bravery alone although those croutons are pretty big.

Unless you're a perfect parent...I don't qualify as one of those. :rotfl: But I'm a fun parent. :teeth:

Oh yeah, that's me Ms. Perfect Mom :rotfl2: .

:sad2: Oh, remember this is a family board...don't look that word up on urbandictionary.com! :sad2:

luvflorida, my DH and I haven't been there for years, but we assume you went to TGIFriday's. Nice meal, even though the cracker package that was upside down was a bit irksome. But I'm sure it was served that way, so I wouldn't dream of docking you for that. :teeth: Nice looking meal! :thumbsup2 I'll give you a 10 for embarrassing your husband. My DH got a kick out of reading about that. :rotfl:

Lookin' good, Shug, lookin' good. But please don't try to pass a dish towel off as a cloth napkin again.

Well, they began life in Walmart as dish cloths but they fit the table decor perfectly and we've always used them for napkins. Great when you have BBQ ribs!

When the waiter put two bendy straws on the table, I was so excited I thought I was going to pee my pants. :lmao: My husband commented- "You know, you're way too excited about those straws. I bet he'd give you more if you ask nicely." :rotfl2:

It's the little things in life :rotfl2: . Of course you do realize you will find a few boxes under the tree this year :rotfl: .

Yes, and just for being the first person with the correct answer, IF you ever post a meal picture, I'm going to automatically start you off with two points, without even seeing the food. :teeth:

Yeah, watching my husband squirm was worth it! :lmao:

Look up snarky and then look for #13. hehehe :teeth:

Today's Lunch:

Homemade chicken noodle soup, bread and butter, red seedless grapes, carrots and celery with homemade hummus (it was made by a friend so that is why it was in that container), nutter butters for dessert and Diet Coke to drink.

And for dinner:

Grilled chicken, tomatos and squash, white corn and lemon iced tea. To round out the meal I had my choice of three differant brownies, peanut butter swirl, cheesecake and cake (I ate the peanut butter one, didn't have room for any more)

Looks good, except for the cheesecake I'd eat everything. I know that's an important piece of information when making your meal choices :teeth: . I like the dessert variety and that dinner carbs came from veggies.

What's with the cutlery still on the wrong side though :sad2: ? You were shown the error of your ways :p ;) :rotfl2: :rotfl2: . I'll have to mark you down for that. I think an 8.5 is the best I can do :rotfl: .

I'm off to the land of no DIS so I'll catch you all later. Lunch today is leftover chicken chili and whatever else I can scrounge up  .
