My friend is going down to Disney during Feb. break( Feb.20-26) and needs a mini van rental for that time. She was quoted a price of OVER $600. I said that's crazy, the DIS people must have gotten a better rate- Please help us out Thanks-Ellen
Also check www.mousesavers.com for codes, and www.southwest.com for rental rates. Don't think you have to fly with SWA to book cars through them. Sounds VERY high to me. We've got a minivan through SWA at Alamo for 4-3 through 4-9 which is springbreak for about $275.
Wow, I guess I did ok. I booked a minivan at Alamo for 01/15-01/19 for $173, maybe you should wait a little bit longer. Mousesavers did save me an $20, so do check there.
We are going 1/29-2/5/05 and got $125.05 for the week base rate, $165.52 with the taxes. The orriginal rate was $157.95, then we applied the Entertainment Club coupon that gave us $7.90 off as a discount, in addition to the $25 coupon. It also included an extra driver, of which you usually would pay for daily. (our entertainment book was $25 and we use it anyway, but if you wanted to buy one just for this discount, it may be worth the expense)
Oh, and the special sale rates out now through Alamo are only good through 2/8, so maybe in a couple of weeks they will release new low rates???
Dollar has one for $282 (all taxes included), higher than other posters above but cheaper than her original quote. You can also check on orbitz.com to get a comparison of all the rental companies, but you should then go to each companie's site because their quote is usually less.~~
