Ratatouille standby line at closing during EMH?

Is there a standby line? If we're in standby line at closing, will we get on R? How long is the line typically at that time? If not, can we get LL pass without buying Genie?

There is no standby line during regular park hours and the ride is not operating during extra hours.

Yes, Remy is an individual attraction cost, so you can buy an ILL$ pass for that without buying the $15 Genie+ addon.

Also, for what it's worth, Virtual Queue was open for more than a minute at 7 this morning, so you should be able to get a boarding pass pretty easily if you start your day at Epcot.

thank you. Is that something I need to be up at 7am to get? And can I pick my time or does it just assign next available? We have late risers, so we'd want afternoon. Or, if we had Genie, can we get that ride for "Free?" If booking with Genie at 7am, would it only be 1st thing in AM? Is it available on Genie if we waited until 9am to book (going at slow time in Jan).

Remy is available two ways right now. Via free boarding group - distributed at 7 AM or 1 PM. For a cost with the Individual Attraction Lightning Lane purchase. The $15 Genie+ cost does not include Remy. With the boarding groups, you'll be assigned a boarding group number with no real control over what number you get. So at 7 AM, you could end up with a low group number putting you earlier in the day or a high group number putting you late in the day. But again, you don't really have any control over that. I'm not sure about the ILL$ purchases. I know you select a time. I believe you can keep refreshing until it presents you a time you are satisfied with.

You can join virtual queue at 7am and 1pm. 1pm you have to have entered the park to try for it. It assigns you a group number and you go when you're called, so time can fluctuate. Sometimes you can show up late and be fine

With ILL$'s that cost is entirely separate of Genie+, which means, if you only have Genie+, you don't have access to the ILL$. ILL$'s do allow you to select a time.

Sounds like for your situation, make sure you are in Epcot by 1pm and try for the 1pm Virtual Que (free).
