It seems a rare "No Motto" Silver dollar was recoverd by a librarian in Maine. The words "In God We Trust" we not printed on the coin. It's said to be worth $1 million. It's one of only 2 in existence. Here's the catch, the coin was stolen from the du Pont family in 1967. So the guy who found it gets nothing? He says he got it and other coins as collateral for a loan to a friend. Do you think he is entitled to some finders fee or reward??

Here is the story:

I don't know, I hate to say we should be rewarded for doing the right thing. On the other hand, I would reward someone for that just because he didn't have to turn it in. But, then again, he really couldn't have sold it as that would incriminate him. I'm not an "on the fence" type of person, but I guess I am on this one.
