My daughter is dying to meet Rapunzel. Typically, what are the hours of the meet and greet? Is it open everyday, even in off season? We have such a short trip that I dont want to spend hours in line for this but I know it is a must.

Any advice on how to meet her with the least wait time? We will be there Sunday - Tuesday. Sunday we wont arrive until around 1pm and Tuesday we are leaving around 2pm. Monday we are spending a good part of the day at DCA.

Thanks!

I would go FIRST THING in the morning. I've never been when the wait was LESS than an hour...And I mean we go every few months, and still there is ALWAYS a long line!

Good luck!

Over the summer, the hours were 11am-5pm. I'd say the line was at least 45 minutes at any given time of the day. There were even people lined up a half hour to an hour before it even opened.

When I met her yes, Flynn was there too. He is not always there though so don't plan on it or tell your daughter just in case.

To my son's dismay, Flynn was not there both times we did the meet and greet. We did see him once leaving the meet and greet, as we were eating in the Village Haus and he was exiting, so he did get a brief wave from him.

We found the line up to move a lot quicker than what the sign says. My kids were prepared to wait however long it took and it was a lot quicker than we expected... although I don't remember exactly how long we waited.

It was one of their highlights of our entire trip.

The actual meet & greet is indoors, but the queue is outside. We have done it twice. The first time (in May) the posted wait was 90 minutes when we hopped into the line at 4:30 (30 minutes before closing). We got to see Rapunzel and Flynn at about 5:15. There was a long period when the line didn't move at all - I'm guessing they went on break during that time.

The second time (in August) my DH got in line w/ DD4 mid-afternoon (3:00, maybe) while DD6 and I rode SM. I don't know what his posted wait was, but the actual wait was about 30 minutes. They let DD6 and I join them right as they entered the building (DD6 didn't care too much about meeting Rapunzel, but I didn't trust DH to take decent picts LOL). We were the last family to see Rapunzel (no Flynn) before she went on break.

My DD wants to meet Rapunzel, too, but wow, that line was ridiculously long every time we went by (never less than 90 minutes). We were there in August, so pretty much everything was crowded - hopefully will be better during the low season. The problem with showing up first thing in the morning is that (at least on the day we showed up first thing) the line starts to form at 10:00 (which means if you want to be at the front of that line you need to hang around for a little bit before 10:00) and the meet & greet did not even begin until 11:00 - guaranteeing at least an hour wait. Thankfully my DD didn't want to wait that long, because I sure as heck didn't! :)

So happy to hear that this is still going on! My sons can't wait to meet Rapunzel and hopefully Flynn!

Eugene Fitzherbert (aka Flynn Ryder) was not there when we met Rapunzel. The line was posted at 90 minutes but we only waited 45. They do shut down the line when it gets over 90 minutes and they reopen it later when the wait time is lower. The line is outside but the M&G is inside. It is very cute and the girls really liked meeting Rapunzel. Enjoy!

We just did this yesterday and the posted wait time was 45 minutes, the CM told us closer to an hour. The actual wait time was 30 minutes. We saw Flynn and Rapunzel.

The M&G is in a room right next to Village Haus restaurant. The queue is outside in front of Pinocchio, loops behind the small Tangled tower and when it's your turn you walk across the Pinocchio exit path into the M&G room.

She's my favorite princess.

Any chance of someone posting a pic? We missed her on our last trip :sad2:
