With all the crowds and craziness at A&E at RD, how is it trying to see Rapunzel at RD? Is it way too hard to get there because you are fighting A&E crowds and so you can't get in and out very fast, thus making it a not-very-efficient use of RD? I am willing to FP+ it if necessary and hit other attractions that would be faster at RD if that's the experience of others.

It does catch some overflow from people who get all the way back there to try and beat the A&E crowd, then when they realize they didn't beat the crowd they file in to see Rapunzel.

If you are there at rope drop I think the better strategy would be to knock out another "section" of things and let the initial rush settle down.

If you can pre-book FP+ maybe consider 7DMT, A&E and Rapunzel. You will want to knock out Peter Pan & ETwB standby before 9:45/10:00.

Then head to Splash & Thunder. If my 11 am you have knocked out Peter Pan, ETwB, Splash and Thunder and have FP+ for A&E, Mine Train and Rapunzel you are in good shape. From like 11 - 1 meet Ariel and do the Little Mermaid Ride, Dumbo, Barnstomers grab lunch then hit your FP+ in that area afterwards and try and get a fourth (fifth, sixth and so on) for the other attractions you haven't done yet (Pooh, IaSW, etc).

Hope that helps.

Last week, the wait for Rapunzel was 10 minutes at rope drop and went to 20 min after the first hour. I never saw it more than that during the two days we were there. A&E were a steady 240 min all day.
